Greetings to everyone, I have been reading this beautiful and interesting community for some time
I smoked 2 packs of cigarettes for over 30 years, then the damage of tobacco at times sent me back to the creator, thanks to 3 long surgeries, miraculously I was reborn and returned to an "almost normal" life, also thanks to vaping.
vaping has become a passion, and here I am fueling it, in the hope of increasing my knowledge, and sharing what I have learned

Many of us got started on ECF as a "lurker" only. We were consistently reading posts and learning a lot...about vaping in general, various vape gear, about DIYing our own eliquids, discovering other people's reasons for kicking the smokes to the curb, and what their journeys were like while switching to vaping after smoking, for decades in most cases. A large % of "lurkers" usually become full members and are warmly welcomed.

After what you've been through with the 3 surgeries...and the fact that vaping has become a passion...I'd say you're a very welcome new member here for sure!

There is deep knowledge here. This thing goes back to before they even sold them in the US

I thank you for the welcome, I would have signed up even before, but unfortunately the aftermath of the damage from cigarettes continues today after years, healthcare has worked a miracle, but for a complete 100% recovery another miracle would be needed, I must say that vaping it helped me and it helps me a lot, because it keeps my head busy, with the continuous readings, continuous updates and interactions on the web, they allowed me to start writing again, now that I'm less worse off, I decided to subscribe, sorry for any typos, among the many damages every now and then a bad aftermath called dyslexia appears, in spite of the advertisements of the 50s and 60s where tobacco increased brain capacity
thanks again,

thanks again,
ive never heard of dyslexia being linked to cigarettes. dyslexia is linked to a bunch of other neurological stuff like autism. Nicotine can increase focus by being an anti-anxiety though. Not smoking for about 5 years generally clears up what it gonna clear up. It’s sorta like nerve injury. With nerve injury what you get back in 18 months is what you’re gonna get generally.

Nicotine probably doesn't cause dyslexia, but together with the tar from millions of cigarettes smoked in 30 years it gave me an aneurysm and a cerebral hemorrhage, putting me in a coma, this is the reason for 3 head surgeries,
