Hi all!

I haven't been around for a while what with Christmas and all. Anyway, I'm vaping my new provari and do love it but I'm not getting the throat hit I want. I was using clearmizers on it which were ok for a little while, then I tried ....geez I can't remember the name of them but they are cartomizers (silver) with an added tip and match the provaria but anyway I got a burnt taste from them because I think 4.2 is too much for them so I then switched over to smoktech dual coils with a couple of adapters which are a better throat hit powered up to 4.2 but will that fry the dual coil or can I go higher or what should I do haha
I'm kinda lost

From what I understand, the Provari is regulated, so, if you were try to go higher than it could handle, you would get an error message...the Provari won't let ya do it! Kinda like built in protection!

Ok I just cranked it up to 4.4 and you're right. It gave me an error message so now I'm at 4.3 but it just isn't doing it for me. What cartomizer should I try on this thing?

There's only so much throat hit you can get out of a certain type of juice, regardless of what hardware you use. What nic strength are you at?

What's you PG to VG percentage?

Most people that want TH use More PG than VG. Like 70%PG to 30%VG.

If your wanting more TH, I would suggest you try some 70%PG | 30%VG e-Liquid.

Higher PG = More TH
Higher VG = More Vapor

Different PG/VG combo as ZoiDman suggested
Atomizers (306/510) IMO these are the way to go for the best TH
Different juice - some flavorings provide a stronger TH, try cinnamon (some people say that it gives TH even at 0mg)

I've tried clearomizers and they just don't cut it but I do love them! No filler taste! And they are so easy to use! I'll definately try the 70/30 pg/vg though. That's my problem....I spend spend spend. I should hold a yard sale!

You really don't need dual coals on it. Try 2.5 or 3.0 ohm sould help with the burnt taste

The drip shields are great, and best of all we have 2 Canadian vendors that have them (Happy Vaper and VaporGeek). Maybe not as nice, but a lot cheaper and Canadian

Best to start off with a standard resistance (2.8-3.0 ohm) 510 atomizer - and also don't forget to pick up an adapter for it.
