Hi! My name is Don Theo III and I am brand new to vaping. I found this site several months ago and have been reading it extensively for some time. Just got my first PV last week and it's everything I hoped it would be!

I LOVE not paying $6.00 a day for those nasty analogs.

I am 33, live in Orlando FL and am so happy to be here!

Oops, forgot to mention, I have been smoking a pack of analogs a day for 15 years and since I got my PV kit 6 days ago I have smoked a total of 2 analogs!

Before 6 days ago I was smoking 20 of those nasty things a day!

Also, yesterday at work my batteries ran out so I bummed a smoke off a co-worker. Now keep in mind it had been 5 days since I had smoked an analog.

YUCK!!! That thing tasted like poo poo!

E-cigs bring the pallate back! Food tastes better, my sense of smell is back and my $700.00 cologne smells much better on me!

(just kidding about the $700.00. Isse Miyake is only $70.00 a bottle here but it sure smells better!)

hiya don,, and welcome to ecf!! glad you made the choice to vape.. now the fun comes.. so many juices, who to try and what flavor? Decisions, decisions...

Keep it up. Its a tough road some days but you'll get there. I was lucky...but then pain is a universal motivator (had a lung infection that caused pain when I inhaled and the pain was worse when I exhaled.) No pain with a PV pain with a cig....no brainer I felt.
One day at a time and everyone here is always available (errr at least someone is always around) who can help if you need anything ( I smoked 3 packs a day full flavor menthol 120s)

And there are negatives too - give it a little bit more time and you will realise how bad some people smell (mostly BO, bad parfume and current smokers).

@Lilacs212too all the flavors! No kidding! At first I was going with tobacco flaves to help me kick the kill stix but now that my sense of taste has been rejuvenated I'm really anxious to try all the chocolate, cherry, lime, Christmas tree fun out there!

@HeatherC 3 packs a day??? WOW!!! You are a champion. That's one of the greatest success stories EVAH! That's unbelievable. If you subscribe to the old addage that one cig takes 7 minutes off of your life then think of what YOU have done! So inspirational.

How about shelling out $11 a pack. Here in NYC they tax you to death faster than the cigarettes do. That's why I switched to vaping instead of smoking. It's been 3 weeks since I had an analog. Don't miss it a bit. I got really serious about the whole ecig experience and now mix my own ejuices. I made this simple program to mix with. Perhaps I will add additional features and recipes to it. I should nudge you in the directions of VaporBomb, TastyVapor, and MsTsBakery.. all have such great juices IMHO... I think lots of us started out thinking that tobacco flavored would be the best, and now I won't go near tobacco flavors, blech! (on the other hand, there are some who only vape that, to each his own) I just think that if there's a cheery cheesecake out there that tastes delicious and has no fat or calories, I am SOLD! But that's just my

WOW we're in western NY...and I think theyre only 9.50 a pack here....and we used to buy them at the reservation store near us BUT 27-33$ a day I'd have been more than just broke!! LOL

I am currently using the KR808-1 I think it is...the Vapor 4 Life model whatever that is. Although if the sites you mentioned carry juices I guess I can use those with blank v4L cartz.

@HeatherC MAN!!! I thought I was getting ripped off at $6.50 a pack in FL! I remember when you could get a pack for $2.50 ten years ago in Tennessee.

Since taking up vaping I've been all about the health benefits but in hearing what some of the country has to pay for analogs I am realizing the cost factor is HUGE!

HeatherC three packs a day at those prices would require a second job to pay for it! I'm SO happy you found e-cigs. But I bet not NEAR as happy as you are ;-)

they're mainly juices.. I've never used a KR808-1, but I would have to imagine the cartos are refillable... and especially if you're looking for a more economical solution to smoking, buying juice and refilling cartos would be a good way to go Now that I find juices I love, I spend less than $30 a month to vape (including hardware upkeep) but your mileage may vary.. you can spend as little as you want, and.. as much as you want.. the possibilities with vaping are endless, I think

And yeah, I'll check out those sites you mentioned. If we are just talking juice then I can use those in any instrument.

Yes the juice can be used with any cart or cartomizer or with the dripping technique.
People do this in very different manners...I have found I enjoy doing a flavor for an hour or so then when the cart is dry...time for a new flavor...I have about 9 that I've been enjoying immensely!! From Awesomevapor Caramel is delightful...watermelon is delish...and cinnamon is GREAT balls of fire!! Love those three the best.

I know man, its ridiculous how expensive those things have gotten, I dont miss paying 50 bucks for a carton of cigarettes every week.

Another thing I dont miss is those wretched "fire safe" cigarettes, as if they werent bad enough as it was. They had to add extra glue to the paper and make it even more unpleasant.

In case anyone is interested I updated the eJuice Calculator and added Nicotine mixing of different levels. Google "eJuice Me Up" by Breaktru Software
