Hi Luke, welcome to ECF.

There are tons of variables at play, so as much info as you can give might help. Also, I have a hunch Brother Bob will be along to provide you with pinned links to look at to help get you up to speed, initially these days, vaping options can be a bit overwhelming.

How much, how long, and how often did you smoke?
Have you tried an e-cig before, if so which one, did you like it?
Are you interested more in smooth vape with lots of clouds sucked straight into your lungs, or less clouds but more nicotine per inhale (which is called mouth-to-lung, the way many smokers smoked, I did)? Those would be different kinds of tanks, depending on what you are shooting for.
Where are you located and what's your initial budget?
Do you want a tube mod that looks more like a cigarette, or something bulkier/heftier?
Do you have any thoughts on flavors (tobacco-like, or something different)?
Do you want internal or external batteries which you can take out and recharge, vs. using a USB port to charge?

There's so many options kind of knowing where to point you without some of these factors is a bit difficult. That said, there are tons of options and I'm sure as you continue along the thread, you'll get great suggestions.... I don't want to suggest something totally *wrong* for you though, so knowing some of this stuff would help.

Welcome!

Anna

Hi everyone,i'm looking for a mod, i'm a beginner
Welcome and glad you joined.
Suggest you begin at the start of vaping and learn from the bottom up. By the way, be careful when you see an advertiser offer a startup kit. The kit maybe a startup for an advanced user, beware.
Probably the best way is to go about a purchase is read as much as you can take, then go to a vape shop and test. Suggest staying away from sub ohm units until you feel ready to advance up the ladder. If it seems to much to take in, you might want to concentrate on a atomizer you wish to buy (DL or MTL).

HI and welcome, Like everyone else, it's hard to recommend a starter kit for somebody else, especially if I don't know how they vape. A decent place to start, however, would be something like a Kanger Subox or Topbox kit. The tank they come with has a wide variety of coils available and it can help you determine what kind of vaping you want to do. If that doesn't please you, tell us more and we'll try to help.
