I have been using e cigs for about 5 weeks now, used to smoke, gave it up 11 years ago and sadly found last month turning back and really craving a cig. Didnt want to go that way again so bought a tobacco e cig ( e lites) ,didnt like the flavour, then tried the menthol. Found the carts were not lasting me long, so did a search to see if I could refill them(didnt want to start spending like I used to. Managed to refill them but it wasnt lasting long.
After doing a bit of reading reviews I bought a kit from vapescape with some fruit,blackjacks and mint samples and it came today - gosh what a difference. Easier to fill, better hit and not in constant use.
Hubby smokes rollies and I am trying to convert him now but so far he wont even try
Welcome all the fellow new people. iggylil - it is great that you have turned to an ecig instead of going back to smoking. I think that hearing of people just like you that are turning back to smoking after being quit for 11 years is what kept me smoking for so long. I figured after 46 years I would never be able to quit.
Now I am just amazed that I have not had a cigarette since I got my eGo Twist - and that I can actually be with smokers and I don't even want one. Good luck with converting your hubby. I am very lucky that my hubby has never smoked - so of course he is very happy these days that I am no longer smoking.
I hope the ecig you have continues to work for you - but if not there are a lot of very helpful people on ECF that will answer all your questions and give you great advice. It was all the great info here that helped me find the right setup for me.
