Hi Friends! What's The Current Status Re: Victoria AU Ban?

Hey all!

I am a newbie here but have been reading the whole shebang regarding the ban on nicotine use/supply in the
Australian ban; Egar illegal forum and am interested in what is/has been happening since the last post on 03-26-2010, 07:27 PM.

The information and discussions within that thread have been very helpful in gaining an understanding of what has happened and why.

I am a new member of the vaping community and have been smoking analogs for about 30 years...I have tried an electronic cigarette recently and had cut down my tobacco use by 75% over a 4 day period so I know it has the potential for me, like so many others, to rid me of the painful (health & financial) tobacco habit.

So thanks for giving me a place to get involved with the vaping community at large and I hope that I can contribute some information also in the days and months to follow...

But businessman Albert Nisman, who holds the Australian distribution rights for e-cigarettes under the brand name Egar, isn't taking no for an answer. He says he is planning a new submission to the TGA, and is "pretty confident" his product will get approval.

Might look this guy up. But all my searches on Aussy ban came up with the same old (2009) or older links I get researching the FDA's stupidity. UK has some breaking news, that isnt really breaking, they plan on stomping on the vendors, but havent decided when they are gonna get out the jack boots. (UK forums estimate similar time frame to US FDA action, giving them around 6months or a year before they expect anything new from their health ministry)
