Any doctors or science majors here who can explain exactly how an e-cig affects your body? I need to use this evidence so my college un-bans e-cigs!

My college banned e-cigs and now I'm trying to convince them to un-ban e-cigs. I want to show how un-banning e-cigs will reduce tobacco use on campus. My petition and other forum post explains everything that has happened so far.

So are there are doctors or science majors on here who can tell me exactly how a e-cig works and how it affects your body, from a biological stand point?

This information will help show my college that I actually know what I am talking about. It'll help me with being much more convincing. I can put any scientific info given to me into a powerpoint or onto a paper I will be writing to my college about this.
