Hi everyone! I'm donna and I'm new in this forum and I'm as well new in vaping. I've started browsing and I got info overload. Need to start with the basic guide first before digging into modding and all.

I just purchased my Joye 510 because based on the forums and reviews I have read online this is the recommendable starter kit for a newbie like me.

I know I still need to do more experiments to get accustomed with my e-cigs and I need to know a lot lot more about how it works and techniques to make it work best. Any links you can recommend?

Ignore my extra comment. Your post moved. lol. There were a bunch of deleted posts that some spammer put up, and when I looked, your post was smack in the middle of em. People just skipped over it. I posted, welcomed you and caused your post to move out to the top. lol. Shouldn't have even mentioned it since it caused confusion.

Anyway, welcome again to ECF.

The 510 is so-so for beginners. Actually I would never really recommend the kit you have at all. It's a very small e-cig which simply doesn't have the power to give enough satisfaction. I use an eGo mega which produces huge amounts of satisfying vapor. Vaping is a learning curve, especially when you first start. Good luck, and never hesitate when have questions. We are all here to help you! I promise!

The only downside with the 510 or an 808 for that matter is the battery life. I craved a decent hit a lot more than I craved holding something like a cigarette starting out. Hitting on a dying battery 8 to 10 times a day drove me nuts. The kit I was using was an RN4081 so it wasn't even as good as a 510 though. However, if you're happy with it, go for it. I would recommend you get some cartomizers though.
