I'm new to this forum, but not new to vaping. I started using e-cigarettes more than 5 years ago when they all looked like king sized tobacco cigarettes on steroids. I graduated to the cartomizers, the drippers and mech mods, then tanks and regulated mods, and now finally temp controlled tanks. I started vapeing to stop smoking and it's worked. No cigarettes for the entire 5 years even though I smoked for over 40 years. Oh yeah, I'm an older vaper.

I, too, am of the "Older persuasion". My daughter and I started vaping around 4 years ago, to keep us from going back to smoking. We had quit smoking, cold turkey, around 10 years ago, but stress and cravings were making smoking again seem like a good idea. My daughter had heard about ecigs; we researched; we hemmed and hawed, not sure if they would work for us to keep us as ex-smokers. Boy, oh boy, was this skeptic ever proved wrong. We are still happily cigarette free.

I used to be a very heavy smoker, until I bought my first e-cig, over 7 years ago - even though that ciggie lookalike wasn't that good, it helped me cut down & then better kit helped me give up cigarettes completely.
