Clarify, newbie to forum, etc. Read the part about needing five posts, so here is my first. Have been vaping for a little over 17 months, haven't had a real cig in at least 15 months. I am a nurse, a hospice nurse actually, and have been wanting to not smell like an ashtray, especially when going to take care of patients with COPD or lung cancer. Now I just smell like vanilla or chocolate or coffee, or whatever. I am, however, still working my way through, trying new things, figuring out ohms and mahs and so forth. Right now am using an eGo passthru with a clearomizer, but am considering moving up to something with a nicer voltage, higher ohm and all of that. I also understand that I have to post five threads, so this is the first. Please say 'hi' back, let's get to know one another. :)

17 months. astonishing. i'm very jealous of you for the next 16 months. i think if i worked in a hospice, i would be a 5 PAD smoker. can't imagine what your days are like. congrats, and welcome to our extended family.:toast:

Perhaps an eGo Twist/Spinner could be a good next purchase for you, just to get a taste of the power of variable voltage..? That is unless you were drooling over some of those fancier looking mods. Hehe. In any case, Twists and Spinners come in many different colors, so there's something for everybody's taste, and the VV adds another dimension to both LR and the option of higher ohm units. 3.3-4.8 volts works fine for me in the 1.5-3 Ohm range, at least, which is where most things you can buy are.

Cheers for your achievements over the past 15 months! That's great! Happy vapin'! :)
