Hi,

I'll be the new start here so I suppose I'll be making the coffee and going to get the left handed hammer? Milk & sugar everyone? Don't think you can fool me with the tannoy announcements for .... Puller tho - not falling for them!

Anyway a bit about me...Been a smoker for 30 odd years, the last 15 or so on roll ups. Tried quitting a few years ago when the Scottish smoking ban came in, and managed about 2 or 3 months. Found it ok until I had a drink, then I would kill you with one single move just to get your rollie. So I tried the "surely I can have a couple when drinking like my mate does" route. Fast forward a few weekends of that and I was back to a 20/day guy for the next 8 years or however long it's been.

Then I got into vaping some months ago, and it took a few weeks to be completely cig-free. I've not banned myself from cigs (and if I want one, or 20 for that matter, I'll have them - they're through there in the kitchen drawer). But as time has gone on and I've found my way a bit with "The vape", I've found my desire for a cig to be less and less, so I'm now enjoying having a car and a house which doesn't smell like a burnt building in the morning. The strange thing is that I don't mind the smell of anyone else smoking this time around, unlike last time. I can also happily have a drink and watch my mates with rollies no problem. Maybe it's because mentally cigs aren't forbidden fruit for me - more like fruit that I genuinely don't want any more?

So here I am, having spent a small fortune on vaping gear with the mindset that, within reason, I'm better off spending extra cash on being healthy. I currently have (well, between the other half and I) 2 Vamo's, a Spinner, a Twist, a UDT-L, and a couple of eGo's. And to put on top we have T3's, Evod's, a Protank, a Mini Nova, 2 Igo L's, an Iclear 30 - and the postie has just brought me an Aga T2 which I've not taken out the box yet. Not to mention the boxes scattered around the house containing wick, wire, nail clippers, small screwdrivers, bottles of liquids of various guises etc. Does that lot make me a bit less of a newbie? lol

Anyway, nice to be here, and looking forward to participating. I hope that I can pass on my (limited) knowledge in some fashion, and I'm sure I'll be asking for lots of advice (probably starting with how to get an Aga T to wick properly using silica lol).
