Hello, I'm new, living in the UK and thought I'd introduce myself here
After a 30 year habit that I've tried to break unsuccessfully in the past (using the usual patches and gums) I've now been vaping for just over a week and have had no analogues for 7 days today and frankly don't feel the urge to have any more, which is amazing in itself!
The world of vaping is still very new to me and I have to admit I'm very much like a kid in a candy shop at the moment and so far I've spent waaaay more money than I've saved but hopefully that'll be an investment for the future when I will save money by not using analogues ... I hope!
Anyway, I've been seeking advice over on the All About E-Cigarettes forum which was the first (UK) one I found and have now branched out to the UK Vapers forum and thought I'd come over here too and go international
So far I have the following kit:
I started out (before having a clue) with some E-Lites I got cheap off a Groupon deal, I know they're not all that well thought of but actually I think they're okay, I got 'em cheap and they introduced me to the world of vaping so can't be all bad eh!
I then, after advice on the AAE-C forum, got a hold of a Riva 1100 along with various juices (more on those below) and this has been great so far and although I haven't enjoyed every juice I've tried it's fantastic just giving them a go to see what's what and I have a couple of favourites I'm using regularly now. Always open to more recommendations though so please do make as many suggestions as to what I might try next, at the moment I'm sticking with tobacco flavours, makes it easier to cope with the array of options out there, but I guess I may try others at a later date
I've also always fancied a pipe so have bought some Mini e-pipe parts (bowl, lid, battery and charger) which I'm going to pair up with a TW atomiser and carts as I found details of this mod online, just a bit of fun really but hey you have to start somewhere (still waiting for the TW order to arrive though)
Next up I have a hankering after something more portable and inconspicuous than the Riva for the pub and stuff and the TW 510 Titan Tank E-NIC with a spare battery and a PCC case seems to fit the bill. This has been recommended to me again over on the AAE-C forum but again please feel free to comment on that choice if you think it's sensible or thoroughly wrong, the more the merrier eh!
As for the juices, well this is what I've tried so far and what I thought (apologies in advance if you've read some of this already over on the AAE-C forum, this is an edited version of my comments over there):
================================
From Vapeescape who very kindly sent me 3 free samples (the only vendor to do this so far so kudos and a big THANK YOU to Jason for that):
Gold and Silver: the sweetest of the two I tried first (the other was Winson). Quite smooth and quite sweet (initially a little too much for my tastes but getting better as my taste buds change) and with a light throat hit.
Winson: definitely my favourite of the first two (G&S being the other). less sweet and more smokey with the better throat hit, I've been using this one daily for the last week along with the next juice below:
Grizwald's 666: a fantastic vape and an instant hit with me (although you can have too much of a good thing, which is usually when I switch to the Winson. with a great throat hit. Not too sweet (I don't have much of a sweet tooth) and a lot of subtle flavours going on - really nice. My initial impression was that the 666 is a more interesting and satisfying vape than the Winson and to be honest the last few days have only confirmed this but the Winson is a great alternative.
Flavourart Royal - very nice subtle flavour with a definte minty aftertaste, good throat hit - I enjoyed this one.
Flavourart Shade - stronger flavour, can't quite put my finger on the flavour but I recognise it from somewhere and it's nice but quite rich, again a good throat hit.
So of the juices I got from Vapescape I thin my least favourite, although still a decent vape, would have to be G&S, the rest all scored highly with 666 just pipping Winson to the winning post because of it's rich and complex nutty taste, really lovely.

Some juices from Fredomvape:
Virginia: a light flavour supposedly similar to Golden Virginia but not sure about that! Okay with a mild throat hit ... actually that was my initial impression nut how can I put this, the throat hit is okay but the taste reminds me of urine actually ... not, I hasten to add, that I'm in the habit of sampling hat particular liquid! Definitely not one I'd buy again and my least favourite of all the juices I've tried!
Camtel: supposed to be similar to Camel and again not too sure about that but the vape is really quite pleasant almost aromatic (a bit like a joss stick but not unpleasant), could be a bit sickly in excess I suspect. Decent throat hit with this one.
Perique Black: a very nice tobaccoey taste to this one with a smokey aftertaste, not too overpowering and just about right with a decent throat hit - the best of the Freedomvape juices I've tried so far I'd say.
Dark Vapure: A really peaty strong taste and rather nice despite ticking the throat at first but surprisingly the throat hit was quite mild and there wasn't as much vapour being produced with this liquid for some reason either, could have been down to my

I revisited G&S from Vapescape again last night which I have to say struck me as a much more pleasant vape than I recall from first sampling, not as sickly sweet although still a little too sweet for my tastes, so perhaps my taste buds really are changing!
All in all though I still prefer the Winson and 666 above all the others and would say so far these are definitely my 2 top vapes!
So there we have it, my 'journey' so far, where next I wonder?
I hope that was all of interest and thanks for reading!
