Hi, i have been vaping for 1 year 5 months after 20 years of smoking drum tobacco. I made this decision for my wife and 2 daughters age 5 and 3. It has been well worth it.
I am using the products from Vapourlites Electronic Cigarette | E-Cigarette | E-Cig | Free Delivery | Vapourlites and they are great.
At first they didnt have a great drag on them, but luckely, 2 weeks into my vaping they changed the air holes and lenght of the cartridges and now they can vape great. I use just over half of the 11mg tobacco flavour cartridges a day and just inder 2 180mah batteries.. I do have 5 thou on rotation incase ;)

The batteries are a little annoying as one cartridge uses about 1 and a half batteries and the second half always tastes a little burnt. Always prefere a new cart and bat.
I am thinking of getting their ego650 as soon as they are in stock and a 10ml bottle to fill the 1.6ml clearomizer.

So please to be a non smoker, and i would never go back now.
Took about 7 weeks for me to get proper into it. It was really hard at weeks 5-7, but now, omg :| they are great.

Anyone got any ego650 experience?
Like do i need to replace the bit you put the liquid in often? or can i just buy the liquid and fill away?

Welcome to ECF!

The clearo's on that 650 kit will last a variable length of time, it largely depends on how much you vape. I've had some last a few days, some last a week - but I vape a LOT. You can get replacement CE4's quite cheap though, or other clearomizers that will fit elsewhere (should be a ego 510 thread, so you can shop around for a deal) They are a "fill and vape" until they die, the time for a new "head". Fill, vape, rinse repeat etc.

You will notice a massive difference on battery life, going from 180mah to 650mah, it will be noticeable!

I've got a couple of Ego-T 650mah batteries that do me a solid 4-5 hours, and still use them after a couple of months, they are pretty good.

I started on 650mAh eGos with CE4 clearomisers and they worked well for me. About 2 months after i bought them i discovered variable voltage mods and switched.
A lot of the people who started on eGos are still using them after a year so they obviously do the job.
I would definitely shop around for clearomisers that you can replace the heads in, it will work out far cheaper than using disposables.
In my experience good quality clearomiser heads should last 3-4 weeks if you are using light coloured juice. Darker juice tends to use them up faster.
You may also find that you end up changing clearo heads more frequently if you are a heavy user.
Also don't be afraid to shop around for cheaper kits (hint - see the Fast Tech thread). You should be able to buy a battery and topper for around £12-£15, a two pack for £25.
A word of warning - do not buy unbranded clearomisers no matter how cheap they are. Quality Control is a misnomer in China.
Good luck.

Welcome Dan.

Get an eGo as soon as you can. Vapourlites and all those are just a money pit. Shocking value.

Fill yourself 5ml for about £2 and get a more satisfying vape too. :)

How many roll-ups did you smoke? Thin, fat?

Half a vapourlite 11mg carto is going to be about 5 roll-ups. I am surprised you haven't had terrible cravings.

Maybe you should call it a day and quit totally?

OR, if you like vaping buy a nice 650 ego battery (or two), a "cone" to tidy up the look of it and purchase "boge" cartomisers for under £1 each.

BOGE 510 CARTOMISER SS - Cartomizers

Evod Battery 650 mah - Batteries & Chargers

Boge cartos = £52 a year using one a week. 1ml of liquid a day £80 a year. Sorted. :)

- - - -

Having re-read your post, well done!! You did that on Vapourlites - Incredible. :)

Darnation. I went to a lot of effort to write my response but having re-read the OP i can't help but feel a little shilled.
A year and a half on crappy throw away e-cigs ? D'uh.

It's impressive. I never managed even one month, but boy did my wallet know. E-Lites ... shocking. Truly the most expensive way of vaping on the market. How can they charge £3.99 for one refill? Even skycig and Nicolites are nearer *just* £2.

You can actually buy a cartomiser in the UK now for £1. It's a better vape and lasts longer too.

Hi ya, back again. :)
I typo error in my original message, i use just over one and a half carts a day. I was a 20 a day thin roll up smoker before.
It has been expensive buying vapourlites cartridges and i use to buy them for £70 per 50, but have them now for £55. i buy a 50 pack per month and always have a few to spare. I had no idea about ego stuff in detail, cos all i heard was they were unregulated and could be dangerous, but maybe thats just smokers that would have said that lol and i just thought, well its still cheaper than rollups.
Looking forward to moving to an ego system ;)
Thanks for the replies.

The Ego was the best first buy that I made, I bought the Ego 1300mah variable voltage and an extra ce4 clearomizer. The battery lasted me 2 days and the 1.6ml clearo was nice because I got to try different flavours from the same tank. The ego twist cost me 20 Euros and the extra ce4 was 3.99 Euros, I'd imagine the pricing would be similar in the UK. I've upgraded since then but it was a perfect start to the vaping world (I moved on from the disposable flavourvapes things to the Ego)

Dan.. if you were getting 50 for £55, maybe that's cheap enough/good enough value.

I spent £15 a week on rolling, when a packet was £7.50 (ish).

I try to spend £15 a week on Vaping. Last year it was £20+ but I have collected a lot of gear. (For the future regulation). This year, I am confident of dropping to £15 or less.

I think you will enjoy the eGo system. As far as I know, all e-cigarettes are currently regulated only in the way any consumer product is regulated. There is not fully regulated e-liquid, regardless of brand.

Have you got one coming? Are you ordering? Would you like to know of a real shop in your area?

I think there is a shop in a town near us that has opened up for vaping. Gunna go down at some point and check them out ;)

oh, whats the future regulation thing about. Will we still be able to buy them?

Where do you live Dan?

I don't want your postcode or wi-fi access. :?:

There is a possibility that much of what we use today will not be around soon.

There are lots of vaping shops now. Some are good, some are not. Some will "take you to the ******* cleaners"....

Found a good shop in our town, it has only been open a little while, so i got myself a 900mah battery, a clearomiser, a charger and a bottle of BH Son 12mg liquid.
It works great but the juice tastes different to what i am use too. I will be buying the vapourlites juice once it becomes available.
For now thou i am using the battery on my vapourlites cartridges and it is great.
I always thought the drag and hit from vapourlites cartridges were one of the best Cartridges i have vaped. Elites and Nicolites are a hard drawn toke with not much hit, but vapourlites are way better. They have the same hit as a kit job.
Glad i made the move because the real issue was the cost of liquid vs cartridges.
Come on vapourlites, get your .... in gear and stop advertising "available in 10 days" arrrrrgggggggg lol.

Im Plooming Marvalous :)

BH Son - Dekang?

Yes, not like Vapourlites I'd imagine.

I did actually find the E-lites flavour in the end.

So Vapourlites are going into Juice?... interesting move. Juice is 50p per ml (or less) and some brands charge £3.99 for one cartomiser (with 1ml of liquid). Maybe the times are changing.

Most of the flavours are out there somewhere. I found the Nicolites flavour for £2.60 (10ml). So much cheaper doing it this way.

Yes the BHSon is Dekand. Yes Vapourlites doing bottles of 10ml for £3.99.
I figured, i spend £55 on a direct debit getting 50 Cartridges. Each cart holds 0.8ml, so thats 40ml of juice for £55.
The bottles are 10ml for £3.99. So 4 of them a month will be £16ish. Say 2 Clearomizers for the month, about £4 each. (£8)
Thats £24 a month. :)

Great!

Some people wonder why I get so cross about E-Lites.

I worked out my first year was going to cost £2,000 and I was still smoking. :(

Now I spend £25 a month on liquid instead.

You're not Midlands are you by any chance?
