Hey everyone -

After smoking for 25 years, I decided to go full time vaping after playing around with it a few times here and there and never being that happy with the normal eCigs.

Picked up a ProTank II and a couple of batteries but I'm already ready to upgrade as I'm charging both of my batteries daily it seems. I've had my ProTank II for about a week and a half and I'm already ready to change the coil (I'm really bad about not keeping it above 1/3rd full). I've also noticed that I'm getting some discoloration from the head when I do add more juice.

Is this normal? How often do most people change the head?

Some other people will be able suggest better tanks then the protank.... I'm a little out of the loop in this aera.

Thank you for the welcome Steam Turbine. I should have clarified on the 'upgrade'. Meant getting away from the battery and switching to a different unit. Just ordered an Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0 and a spare Protank 2 as I wanted to have a second tank for different flavors.

Off to the Atomizer forum for some much needed reading!

The MVPII is a good choice, IMO. I have about ten different mods right now, and lately, the MVP has been coming with me about every day.

What do you mean by battery exactly?

Sorry, still new to the vaping lingo.

The battery I purchased as a 650mah (got it with a kit that I now know I got robbed on) and then a 950 mah. I meant 'upgrade' as in a longer lasting battery, which was the reason for purchasing the MVP. I'll still use these as a backup once I get my MVP.
