EDIT: oops spell check changed thread title to vapercast from vaper!

Hi everyone,

Ive recently started vaping about a month ago after lurking on this and other forums for a while. Thought it was time to say hello and introduce myself.

I've been a 20 a day smoker for the last 17 years or so. I primarily decided digital was the way to go for a reason not many others have. I recently changed jobs (I'm a lorry driver), and the firm I'm currently with do not allow smoking in the cab, unlike my last job. Doing my job means I was smoking a lot, mostly whilst driving but hardly ever at home. I think for me it was a way with coping with the boredom of long hours (12-14hr days) and a way to pass the time.

Obviously, since I've not been able to smoke in the cab this has meant many frequent stop offs. It was getting to be a right ball ache so I decided digital was the way to go due to the smell not being detectable in my lorry.

So after a bit of searching I came across this and another two forums for some help on deciding what would be best for me.

All my research led me to picking the Alpha Ultramax w/RES. I loved this device from the day I received it and haven't smoked a single analogue since. I feel fitter, more healthy and now I can finally smell/ taste things again. I know now that I'll never go back to the cigs again.

Since my initial purchase of the Ultramax, I've also gone on to buy a GGTS and a Throathit box mod and a whole box full of various juices.

Gotta say a big thanks to everyone here for all the advice I've read too.

Thanks for reading:)

Yeah the Ultramax is a great bit of kit. I prefer mechanical devices as there's less to go wrong. I'm currently using a cisco 306 atty in it and it vapes like the proverbial train and has awesome throat hit. The flavour is great too with the ceramic RES system.

My GGTS doesn't get used much because I'm on the lookout for a UFS to use with it.
