Hi everyone,

I'm new to vaping and I'm quite enjoying it (haven't touched a cigarette in almost a week). Anyway I've got this e-juice which I love but the problem I have is that it's just a bit too much on the menthol side. Is there anyway that I can bring out the other flavour which is kind of like bubble gum/cremola foam. I got a really strong taste of this at the beginning of using it which was fantastic but now I seem to be losing it even with changing what I am vaping during the day. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi :)

Can't really help with that. Are you shaking the bottle really well before putting the liquid into your device? You need to shake it up really well. There sometimes is separation (that is not visible) which could account for you losing some flavor.

Maybe buy a bottle that doesn't have menthol added and mixing them?

This was my first thought too. Also nicotine has a tendency to settle quickly. So always shake well before juicing up. I did have another thought...How old is the bottle? As it steeps the flavor can change dramatically...at least for the first 5 weeks.

Thanks for helping everyone. As soon as I find where my small bottle is I'm going to try both shaking and letting it breathe asmy other half uses the same stuff as me and he likes it the way it is so I can't play about with the big bottle we share.

You should shake the big bottle before dispensing into the smaller bottle. There is a chance you took all the menthol and left him with the yummy flavor part. I would pour the small bottle back in the large, shake very well then re-distribute into the smaller container and try again.

Thanks again for the advice guys. The bottles are only about a week old so certainly going to try steeping as well. Cremola foam is powder that you put into water to make juice. Used to be about years ago but I don't know if you would have seen it as I live in the UK. They've tried to bring it back here and it's called Krakatoa foam now :/ among other things.

You might try letting the ejuice "breathe". Menthol evaporates at 70˚F so letting it breathe may get rid of some of the menthol.

Everything evaporates at 70 F. However boiling point of menthol is 414 F, i.e. higher than many other flavorings. It means these other flavorings will evaporate faster.

Hey, was hoping to tell all of you how it was going with the steeping/shaking but alas I have the cold so can't tell the difference between anything. Only thing to come of today was my battery dying on my Itaste mvp (very good btw, excellent battery life) and having to use my old e cig, as I'm fully determined not to pick up the tobacco again, and realizing how poor it is compared to what I have now. Oh well needs must :(

Sorry; that's just the way it's going to be for the next few weeks; with no smoke getting in your mouth all the time like before, your tastebuds are now going on a ride, and you're going to find your'e tasting stuff different , so don't spend too much on too much of 1 flavor because something you like today, you might not like next month.

I get what you mean with the changing of taste. I've got a caramel flavour that I wasn't massively keen on when I first got it but I'm starting to get more of the flavour now and that's without steeping/shaking before hand. I still love the blue crush one but I'm still experiencing the same thing with the menthol in it being a bit too much so until I've tried what others have said then I can't really comment on that changing with just time so steeping and shaking it is for that one.

Ok so here is a few things I have observed so far. Haven't shook the bottle too much as I have said before it is used by my other half as well and he likes it as it is. However I have two different tanks, one with plastic drip tip and one with a metal one. I left the one with a metal one off for a day or so and I have found that this helps a little. On the other hand it could just be to do with the tip. Has anyone else experienced a difference with the tip that they use?
