Hi, i am new in the vaping hobby and I need your help. I started purchasing gear last week. I am waiting for it to arrive so I can start a new hobby. Among other things I also bought from ebay, what I thought was an original kayfun V4. I bought from ebay because I could not find that particular model in stock anywhere I searched. I then was told from a couple of friends that the pictures in the listing where from a cheap copy. The seller says that he is not canceling the order because it is original as described. The ebay item number is 151997435474. If you enter it in the search field on ebay it will come up. I am not posting the link because I am not sure if I am allowed from the forum rules. Please have a look and if you think it is a clone and that I got conned, please report the item using the relevant link on the page. If you think it is genuine, please say so I can remove my claim and apologise.

From what I can see on the ebay image, there's no airflow ring included. As for it being legit or not, can't really tell from the pictures.

Hello @kaaan and welcome to the forum. Many vapers have bought from ebay and Amazon. Ebay feels like let the buyer beware to me. I choose to buy from vendors I have found through ecf, as they are mostly reputable. Check these links :

Thank you, I can not post the link, tried a few times. But if you make an ebay search and put 151997435474 in the search box, the item will appear.

I also emailed svoemesto customer support and the dealer that the seller claims he purchased it from.

I have bought most of my new gear from a UK trusted site, but I could not find Kayfun V4 in stock.

I looked at your listing from the number you provided. That was a USED device and advertised as such. Not priced cheap like most clones. Examine the packaging when you get it. I can't tell you if it's a real deal authentic from the pics and I doubt/think no one else can UNLESS they due a side by side with an authentic purchased from a trusted vendor. My guess and it's only a guess is that you will be fine and it's an authentic but remember I'm only guessing.

Double ditto times a zillon for the advice a few posts up by "Sir" Please just ask before you buy anymore gear. We are all happy to help you and can speak from first hand experience across a huge spectrum of gear.

I can't tell from the pic. If it's real, it's missing parts. The AFC ring is gone.

I had a reply from svoemesto support.
They say that it seems to be a cheap copy without the ring with the holes and bad gaskets.
The seller still insists it was purchased from intaste.de and that it is genuine.
Thank you all for your support and advice.
I am now sure and will take the appropriate measures for claiming my money back.
