I was most impressed with the class and respect you showed for the family of the fatality by not going into the details of the events that caused the battery to fail and mod to explode.
I agree about showing respect to the family of the fatality.

I was also impressed by Qorax's sense of humor. Who would have thought vibrators used lithium batteries?

Heheh, I had to deeply, deliberately and diligently think of stuff that used Li-ons ~ and were closer to the body than our e-cigs. Can't permit the anti-vape zealots to win, eh!

lol yes that was very unexpected, but yea I have a few with rechargeable bats I use the same precautions when charging them. im betting most people never even think about it vibrators for most people are left on the charger in a drawer or night stand because after all it dose not vibrate when not charged, and who wants to wait an hour when the mood hits or you and your SO want to play around.

Does this works with normal li ion 18650 battery or need a special battery? i have some old ultrafires here.
You need to use a lithium ion battery with the proper battery specifications. What that boils down to is the "maximum continuous discharge rate" or amp rating must be of a minimal rating for the wattage that you will be using.

Those ultrafire batteries are probably ICR chemistry (wrong kind of battery) and have an amp rating of only 4 amps. They are considered to be obsolete for vaping.

When choosing batteries for a regulated mod, will you be using a single, dual, or triple battery mod? In the interests of keeping things simple:

-If you use a good quality 15 amp CDR battery like the Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC6, then you are good up to 45 watts per battery; 90 watts using two; 135 watts for three batteries.

-If you use a good quality 20 amp CDR battery like the LG HG2 or Samsung 25R then you are good for 60 watts per battery. If using a 2-battery regulated mod, you're good for 120 watts as you have two batteries. If you are using a 3-battery mod, you're good for 180.

-If you use a single 25 amp CDR battery like the Sony VTC5A, then you are good for 75 watts per battery, 150 watts for two batteries, and 225 watts with three.

-If you use a single 30 amp CDR battery like the LG HB6 you are good up to 90 watts; with a pair of 30 amp CDR batteries you could safely do 180 watts.

-If you purchase a 100 watt single battery mod, you don't need to get a 30 amp battery if you are going to set the wattage at only 30 watts. You'd be wiser choosing a 15 amp battery that has more capacity (mAh) than a 30 watt battery with only 1500mah battery.

-However, if you plan to vape up to 90 watts with that single battery mod, you should go with 30 amp battery although you'll be sacrificing battery time with only 1500 mAh available.

My preference is for a setup with low maintenace and good versality (between vapor or flavor) spending less than 80 usd
I am looking for RTA (since the maintenance looks easier to get the coil materials (just the wire and cotton) and dual batteries
About the watts i dont know, i am new at this, but something versatile would be good to test
For what i searched, this look good
Original SMOK Alien Mod Kit - $77.72 Free Shipping|GearBest.com
Does this works with normal li ion 18650 battery or need a special battery? i have some old ultrafires here
I live in brazil, here is hard to find maintenance parts, so what acessories/maintenance parts should i buy to keep it working for some months with no problem ? only the coil? can i use medical normal cotton ?
Welcome and glad you joined.
