Hi all, this is my first post so here goes..

I'm an ex-smoker of 7 yrs, 7 months. I quit cold turkey. (Chain smoked 3 years before that.) It was NOT easy, and since I found out about ecigs I wouldn't recommend cold turkey to anybody. Without tons of willpower, self inflicted positive and negitive reinforcement, and at least 3 weeks off work I wouldn't have been able to do it, and don't see how anyone could. Theres the withdrawl crankiness, the 14 hour sleeps, the night of the sweats.. nightmares about it.. its horrible. Thankfully I got thru it and have been nicotine free all this time.

I recently found out about ecigs online accidentally and had to try it. Why? Several reasons.

1. I've been tempted to pick up analogs again due to new stressors in my life. (Thankfully I have not, but the temptation was there.)
2. Quitting analogs made me gain weight. I need something hand to mouth that's not eating all the time.. besides my daily water requirement!
3. I have smoking friends (with kids) who I'd like to set an example for.
4. My boyfriend smokes, and I'd like to help him find a cleaner, healthier alternative.

So I just got my first short batt kit from V4L and I'm lovin it. I'm 0mg all the way and always will be.

...But I'll still vape. :vapor:

Anyway, glad to be here, cant wait to meet and chat with you fellow vapers! :)

Welcome Chaos. Sounds like you thought this out well before diving in. I also have been more than satisfied with V4L's products and excellent customer support.

It's good to see that you opted for 0mg vapes. I have gone from 18mg to 0mg and, honestly, now find 0mg vaping just as satisfying as nicotine vapes ever were. Anyways, good luck to you and keep us posted with your progress and any news.

Hi and welcome!!

Are you refilling your cartos? I can get about 4-7 days out of one and I saved some to attempt cleaning/drying and reusing.

So far my favorite V4L juices are WOWbacco - it's a very cocoa tobacco - mostly tastes like dark chocolate. The TH can be a bit strong. WOWBoy is the same but with a bit of mint added. And WOW Vanilla is a very sweet marshmallowy vanilla. I refill them with my normal vanila (Backwoods Brew Vanilla Bean)

What you're describing (minus the resisting temptation part) describes what I see coming for me. I'm 98% sure I will work my way off the nicotene but I don't think I can give up the action... no let me rephrase I don't even WANT to give up the action. If I'm wrong and I have to keep a little nicotene I can live with that. It's still SO much better for me than smoking.

My hubby is different I told him you can get the liquid without nicotene. His Response " what's the point in that?". BUT he's willing to switch so I am happy to let him keep his nic.

Also we have kids we keep the smoke way from them as much as we can. We smoke outside most of the time and when we don't we have a room that has an outside door so we close the inside door and open the outside door in bad weather. Our 10 year old is very excited about us switching. It ives you a really good feeling when you can lift a worry off a child's shoulders I can tell you.

I imagine so! Hopefully being able to step down from nicotine with ecigs is a way to avoid the all-at-once withdrawl with cold turkey, & since you vape, I bet it won't be that bad for ya.
