hi, im new to this forum and need some help

ive got a
Genuine Kanger Exclusive SubTank Nano Hybrid Sub Ohm Tank and a Kangertech KBOX mod 8-40W which when I first got only a couple of weeks ago was working fine, now it wont work unless I have the tank slightly loose to the mod instead of all the way in? does anyone know why?

You may have a bad coil or you're not making a good connection. I've had the same problem before with my subox mini kit. Try taking the coil out and putting it back in. It may be too loose or too tight. If that doesn't work, put in a different coil. Clean the entire atomizer and the 510 connection on the tank and the mod as well.

Check connection pins both on the the mod & tank. Clean the threads up on both. Ensure the coil head, or coil is in good order, replacing anew if required. These are basic things I would see about. Hopefully, they'll help.

I've changed and clean everything! The only issue is that it only works now if it's screwed in part way?

Ah, you may have compressed the 510 connection pin in the mod. Try getting a Q tip with rubbing alcohol and cleaning the 510 socket. Then get a toothpick and work the pin loose so it's springy again.

The original KBox has a fixed center pin that can be compressed too much so that the rubber grommet gets crushed. It's a well known problem. You may be able to carefully pry the center pin up and get it to work but it's a temporary solution. You may be able to fit a #60 Danco o-ring around and under the pin. They are available at Home Depot and sometimes on Ebay. Good luck!

It's a Kanger Nano. Given the description and the reviews (Amazon UK) it could well be fake, actually. There is nothing Hybrid about it. There is nothing Exclusive either. Looks to me like someone is trying a little too hard here.

Anyway, don't panic. The good 'clones' are good... you probably just need a new coil.
I have one clone one and it's a good tank. You'd need to be an expert to tell the difference.
