Hi Just wanted to introduce myself

My name's Melissa. Right now I'm a full time student and a stay at home mom. I lead a pretty boring life. I spend two days a week right now at the football field watching my boys play football they are 11 and 14 and my daughter isn't cheering this year or it would be 3 she's 15.(Just got her permit a few months ago Lord Help Me) When I'm not at a football game I'm usually here in front of my computer doing homework.

I was diagnosed last year with fibromyalgia so normal things can be kind of difficult for me. I have some type of nerve disorder(still undiagnosed, doc doesn't even know what it is or if he does hasn't bother to tell me) where my nerves twitch in my hands, face, arms, and legs. They also go numb frequently.

I just got into vaping about a month ago and have been analog free for 23 days! Yeah Me! I've found the people here at ECF to be very helpful and nice and thought I'd try joining a group. So that's me in a nutshell.

I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids also, and I know you're anything but borring with 3 kids. Then you add going to school right now, I don't know how you do it.

My son will be getting his learners permit in a few weeks, any tips you'd like to give me?

Let me know what your Dr. says about your symptoms.. My friend has something like that. her Dr. is looking at Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease) because he doesn't thing fibro is a real thing. Dufus Dr.! He has taken her off caffiene and nicotine. Yeah that's gonna work! He won't even let her do a patch or gum. God forbid she vapes! I gave her some )nic juice and some batteries and cartos. It's not helping much becauce she is going cold turkey and has headaches from coffee and soda withdrawal!

MK-Oh the headaches I got when I started weaning myself from the coffee were horrible. It is no party. To just take her off both simultaneously is cruel. God bless her and her family.
Ther is no way her doctor understands the stress he puts her under doing this regimine. All my prayers are with her-sending strength and patience her way.

MK your friends doctor is just mean! I'm sure he thinks his advice is for the best but to ask someone to go cold turkey on caffiene and nicotine is just mean. I think my doctor may be a quack and am thinking about looking for a new one. The meds have helped with my symptoms but have also helped me pack on 20lbs in the last year. When I said something about the weight I had put on he told me to do the cabbage diet. I looked it up and the first thing I read is "Lose 10lbs in 7 days" That sounds healthy! I pray that your friend has something other than Lou Gehrig's disease. I am in pretty good shape for the shape I'm in as long as I take my meds daily. They don't help with the fibro but keep me from looking like a freak to everyone else. It's awful to be sitting somewhere and wonder if everyone else notices that your lips, hands or feet are twitching.
