Hi

I live in the UK been vaping for about a year. Started on the usual newbie type which looks like a cigarette. Found Totally wicked and bought their tornado kit.

I used that for a while and then switched to the ego c type atomiser and that's pretty much where I am today.

Was going to order my usual fix of 3x30ml of patriot liquid and a strip of low resistance 1.1ml atomisers but thought I'd see what peoples views are and check-out alternative suppliers.

I vape between 2ml and 4ml a day of 18mg strength stuff some flavours seem to vape better than others dark liquid versus light. I get inconsistencies with burn rate and flavour which is starting to get to me.

Anyway hello and I'd like to hear your views and where I take this "hobby":laugh:

I'm not familiar with UK vendors but going with variable voltage batteries such as the Twists, KGOs or Vision Spinners will be a big help in dealing with inconsistent results with juice. All you have to do is dial in the voltage to what you prefer in a throat hit/taste balance.

After you have five posts and the server resets (once an hour) you can ask on the UK forum for a good seller if someone from the UK doesn't chime in on this thread.

I'd be interested in rebuilding the atomisers so if you have links to any threads/ info I'll have a look.

I have thought about mixing my own liquids but think my wife would moan about the extra knocking about the place.

I'm really keen to explore the base kit so I end up with a really solid piece of kit - thought about an Odyssey made by Totally wicked but seems to have early teething issues which you'd expect with a new product.

Thanks - reasonably happy with quality/ cs from totally wicked but keen to exploit anyone else's experiments with other suppliers/ products.

I'll check out the UK forum once I get access but most of the kit is made in China so we're pretty much using the same stuff - and there's a lot more users in US than here.

Go lurk in the rebuildables section, there are tons of links, and tutorials on virtually all types of atomizers. Some of these can be used with your ego/tornado.

I've been vaping since 2010, started with KR808/cartomizers, then moved onto my eGo phase as well, then onto tube mods. Same for juice, tried vendors, now almost exclusively DIY a few well-liked (most are non tobacco) flavors. Will pick up an interesting flavor every now and then just to check it out, but I don't obsess to a high degree.

I also recommend the rebuildable atomizers, the vision eternity is my current favorite, mainly for the looks. The phoenix is also very nice.

I never got into the original ego-t "tanks" myself, tried one but wasn't impressed. The tube mods offer enough capacity and power to try out the different the current true tanks, both carto and vivi. The ability to use a Kick in a tube mod also makes the hobby more interesting. :)

"Kick in a tube mod" I fear there is much for me to learn....:?::D
