His all, I'm Paul. I'm in the Canadian Armed Forces. I got into the vaping gig on my birthday, as a gift to myself. It's now been over a month with no cigarettes, down from 12 to 6mg of nicotine, and I'm totally hooked on the vape culture. I've upgraded from an Innokin T18 to a few mods, including an Istick Pico, an Eleaf iJust S, and a smok Alien. My collection of tanks is growing, almost daily, ranging from a Melo3 mini to a Smok TFV8 Cloud Beast. I'm really glad to be here, as I'm in far enough that I really need to learn more about what I'm doing. The 'toy factor' is fun, but being off cigarettes is the best part, so far.
I'm ready to take this to the next level, so I'll be searching for answers here.

Congrats on being off the smokes for more than a month so far! It's a wonderful feeling to have something you've been practically "chained to", out of your life now, isn't it? For me, I was chained to smokes for 42+ years before vaping helped me ditch them. The months you've been off them will turn into a year before you know it!

Just about anything you want/need to know about vaping can be found somewhere here on the ECF. Have fun browsing the different forums, and remember...there's no question that's a stupid one...except for the one you don't ask.

Congrats on kicking the stinkies to the curb. Sounds like you are well on your way to a healthier and longer life.

So you are probably starting to smell and taste stuff again. We missed so much with having our senses dulled with smoking.

What level are you talking about going to? DIY your own ejuice? Build your own coils?

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm already very glad I found you all. I'm planning on eventually building my own coils, but for now, I'm interested in fixes for leaking Crown 2 tanks, and gushing TFV8 tanks, lol. I'm certain the fixes are here somewhere. My search is already finding a ton of info on so many aspects of vaping!

On those Crowns, if they are anything like the Crown 1's, the easiest fix is to bottom fill only.

They're, unfortunately, a top fill only tank. Seems the coil o-rings are finicky. Thanks.

The Crown 1's are supposed to be top fill but most find they leak like sieves, particularly with the RBA, if the top is opened so we fill them from the bottom by removing the base/coil. On most tanks this would be a killer but the Crown 1's are worth the small added inconvenience. Not sure about the Crown 2's as I don't have any.
