sounds like you flooded the coil when you refilled your tank to me, happens to the best of us. when i would accidently flood my coil, i would get a papertowel, tilt tank upside down unto it and blow through airhole to get the excess juice out of coil area. Sometimes the first draw or two would still spit a little juice afterwards but, usually it fix the problem right away.
I concur

Brother bob's links should really help you figure out what is going on. I have never flooded my topfill Nautilus 2 by taking a dry hit, then not treating the old coil like a new one instead of priming. I don't ever let my Nautilus 2 tank go below about 1/4 before filling, this seems to remove an easily removable problem, if you know what I mean... It's worth it to me even though it's more fillage per day, but I'll take that over a dry hit any day. You've gotten lots of good ideas in how to avoid flooding your tank. I haven't noticed a huge difference between bottom and top fill, other than I actually get more flooding and leaks than I do with topfill.

Sorry to not be a font of knowledge here, but welcome to ECF :)
