Welcome to the forum. I had the same situation, I didn't want to quit either, but the health concerns after 50+years of smoking, I had to or I would be carrying an oxygen tank. I started with prosmoke and fhey started the process of getting off the analogs. I got tired of charging the small batteries and went to a couple of 1100 mah egos with t3s clearos and have been happily vaping for about 6 months now, with no analogs

New here also, I haven't totaly quit analogs yet, gone from 2 packs per day to 4 packs since New Years, if it wasn't for ecig, I wouldn't have made it this far, it's just once in a while I still crave a real cig, Just lost my husband last month so still kind f having issues . Seems like some really nice ppl here. I will quit cigs sooner than later.

I, too, enjoyed smoking. Just didn't like what it was doing to me. I'll most likely never cut out the nicotine in my ejuice, but I have lowered it considerably. Feel a lot better, too, since I started vaping.

Ahh, a kindred spirit! Yeah, I feel the same way.. But the health hazards just scare me too badly.

You smoke cigs and get about 5 years out of my current age group, and the statistics really become frightening. It just needs to stop.

I bought the "Blu" cigs and tried those.. They help? But they don't seem strong enough or last long enough battery wise.

I saw one of those "Mod" type cigarettes over the weekend and thought I'd try it. (It's called a "Private V2" I believe?) The batteries are much larger. (It takes different sizes) And I got a refillable tank with it.

It appears to be of very high quality.. I can't wait to receive it in the mail..

Hope it'll do the trick.. I've always got three of the little batteries on the charger now.. It seems like they just won't go the distance after a week or so of use?

Hello :) and good luck! Cigarettes lose appeal once you've found equipment and flavors that work for you.

Thank you.. and I certainly hope so.

I was using the commercial ones you get at drug stores.. You can't use custom flavors or anything. Batteries are small.

I have a customizable one on the way, with a variety of flavor.. I hope that'll take the place of smoking cigarettes entirely..

Started with those myself :) Not the blu but another type. Yeah...the little batteries are nice, unless you're a heavy smoker. Lots and lots of charging.

Welcome to the Forums, and more importantly, to vaping!!!

Once you get something better than a Blu/ Njoy, you'll find vaping to be much more enjoyable... I DO have some smaller ciag-alike batteries (from Halo, the G6 ones) and they themselves are leaps and bounds above what a blu battery can do. I'm not familiar with the private, but I "think" that's a mechanical mod, if so you should be aware that there are certain things you need to be careful with using a mechanical, as they don't have the safety cutoffs that a regulated battery (such as a Ego style) will. If you didn't already have the private on the way, I'd almost caution you away from it until you know a bit more about vaping, what batteries to use, and general vaping safety. The best thing you can do now, is to read some more, do some research on mechanicals and the like. There's a learning curve to them, after all.

All in all, just be safe, and enjoy vaping!!

What tank did you get with it, out of curiosity?

I'm the same way,i love smoking and didn't ever really want to quit. I just didn't like what it was doing to me and my family with me smoking in the house. It took me a whole year of smoking analogs along with vaping before i could give up the stinkies,so just keep at it and you will get there. I enjoy vaping way more than i ever did smoking, plus there is so much stuff out there to look at and try it just takes the right set up.

Thank you very much.. Appreciate it!

It's the "Kayfun 3.1" tank.. Which is supposed to be rebuildable. (That appeals to me.) and adjustable.

Thanks for your concerns, but I chose the mechanical Mod specifically for the telescope/large mAh battery capacity.

I don't know anything about E-Cigs, but I know a bit about electricity.. So, it doesn't frighten me.

That's fantastic.. Exactly what I want to be saying in 6 months.

I'm thrilled it's worked out so well for you all.

Good to hear... and I'm glad you chose it knowing why, not just "ooooh, shiney!" Awesome on the Kayfun, those things are insanely good... I tried one of a buddy's, now just waiting on payday to pull the trigger on one myself.

I was afraid that some B&M guy had sold it to you, since they seem to just be out for the $$$ with no thought to whether X device is right for Y vaper.

:toast: Vape on!

lol.. The "ooooh, shiney!" didn't hurt.. I had no idea these things were so well crafted? Thing is beautiful. Like a precision tool.

But, yeah.. I intentionally wanted to stay away from circuit boards and craziness like that.

Just seems like more to break. I'm happy with a switch.
