Hey, just joined the forum after admitting to myself I vape a hell of a lot and need to invest in some better equipment :)

I started out on the Viper E Cigs but they will prove quite expensive in the long run for cartridges.

I also bought a couple of E Go CE4's from eBay just to check them out, and both have now finally given up the ghost after a few months.

I'm now ready to make a decent purchase on another model, with a budget of up to £60.

I was looking at the innokin MPV 2, any good? I also have been looking up the Provari but these seem pretty expensive.

What is everyone else using at the moment and why? What would you say is the best, most beastly one out there?

Thanks guys x:vapor:

The problem with the MVPs, for me, is the integrated battery. Some consider that an advantage, but it would frustrate me if the battery started to die and I had to throw out an otherwise functional device.

I have an SVD, and like that. If you buy it not in kit form it's in your budget, though obviously you'll need batteries etc.

Innokin SVD Express (you can probably find this cheaper if you hunt - though as with many mods, there are lots of allegations of fakes on the market)

Vamos are a good basic option. Cheap and simple...

Not sure of prices in the U.K, but the Itaste V3 VV/VW looks nice, it is made by Innokin, same company that makes the MVP. Give the Vision Spinner a look, my 1300 MAH has been a champ. Joyetech Twist is solid, Kanger makes decent VV Ego also. I would stay away from no name brands, as you found out they can be hit and miss.

Hopefully someone from the U.K. will chime in with a few suggestions where you can get a good deal on a decent product.

I have the iTaste MVP 2 and the iTaste VV v3. Love them both, and there's a place for both of them in my life. The MVP is my commuting vape. I have a 2 hour commute each way, so I need something I KNOW won't run out of a charge. Also great that it charges my cell phone in a pinch. The VVv3 was my going out for the night, stealthier vape. Both devices are variable volts AND variable watts. Both will read the ohms of your coils too. I recommend both.

Keep in mind that a PV with replaceable batteries requires a few additional things-

    Buy a good charger

    Buy 2-3 good batteries

Educate yourself on care/charging of Lithium type batteries.

A multimeter to check the charge and health of your batteries and charger

These things are going to require additional time and add maybe $50 to the cost of your PV

While it's nice to have, I'm not sure a multimeter is essential unless you're building coils.
