Hello from sunny Thorpe Bay. As the thread title alludes I am relatively new to e-cigarettes but not to vapourising.

Stopped smoking analogues in 2000 so smoking cessation is not an issue. However I've been partaking of sheesha for a while now, mostly as a relaxation exercise as the strain of looking after my hemiplegic wife is pretty intense.

My interest in e-cigarettes stems from trying to make sheesha portable and/or more instant. I've looked at a few non-electronic vapourisers (using butane) and considering a starter kit. The vapes I have tried seem harsher than a sheesha as they lack the cooling aspect though so not sure where I go from here.

Welcome , but I have vaped sheesha in my devices , but wasn't exactly the same . The cooling effect . comes from the water in the hookah , and even though vaping emits water vapor , it's not the same . But I have tried those butane versions , and they are even more harsh and hot , than regular PV's . So I would not waste money on that . Now you can get a cooling effect from vaping , using some menthol flavoring , or even some of the mint flavorings . Maybe you could try some of those , and see if they do anything for you . Good Luck .

Thanks. I wasn't intent on vaping hookah tobacco as I figure e-liquid is the vape equivalent. All the vapourisers I've seen that do utilize water cooling are desktop models so hardly PVs. Mint might give the illusion of cooling but the vapour is still going to be at boiling point. Come to think of it why don't the vapourised juices in a sheesha return to liquid form having been cooled? Clearly more research is needed!
