You shouldn't really worry if it's not too much juice, but yes you should get rid of it. Ideally you should have tried to wipe out what you can immediately after it happened (i.e. don't let it sit when this inevitably happens again in the future), but unless there is some kind of crack or defect with the connector, this type of battery should not have any openings through which the juice can get into the internals. It's just going to sit there, possibly gunking up the spring, depending on where it seeps. Eventually, lower-quality spring loaded connectors may become stuck. There are a number of reasons this can happen, but letting juice sit in there certainly doesn't help your topper make a better connection.

In the future, you can simply use a dry paper towel to gently wipe the juice from the connection/well as best you can. At this point, I would recommend soaking a q-tip in rubbing alcohol, squeeze some out so it's not too wet, and clean the threads that way. Wipe down with dry paper towel.

Unless I am fundamentally misunderstanding something, I can see no problem continuing to use this battery. A certain amount of juice gets into connectors all the time. Wipe it out and move along.

I did wipe it out with a paper towel as soon as i noticed it and it seems to be dry now.

So it should be alright to use then?
Should be fine unless it has been soaking in there for days. Minor leaks are a common problem with most all of our tanks from the most inexpensive to the most elaborate high end models.
I finally found a rebuildable tank with a unique 'leak containment' system but your probably not into rebuilding yet.
With the simpler tanks I got into the habit of just removing the tank every once in awhile and checking for liquid. Just clean both ends of the connection (battery and tank) reassemble and vape on.

Paper towels are your best friend in this hobby!
