Everyone is different- I was a pack a day smoker for 30+ years. The day I received my first ecig- was the last day I had a cig. I gave away the packs that I had.
I never really had any urges. I did go through buying and selling quite a few types of ecigs along the way (8 months now).

Wow! Hope Im not too late for this. Been puffing away for 10+ yrs. Tried inhaler, patches, cold turkey.. But guess mental is not strong to kick this habit. It is affecting my health now.

I too am a noob, I have gone from 1ppd to 5 analogs a week, to non smoker in right at three weeks. Great board, lots of encouraging comments

Hi and welcome.
There are many success story's on forum. I smoked nearly 40 years at 2 packs oer day. Since May i have quit and have been vaping. I was not strong enough to quit mentally but since i can get my nicotine to my brain receptors vaping i have no desire for analogs and carry my pv everywhere i go.
Everyone is different but hopefully you have success as well.
