Hi people, any guidance on my struggle to start vaping?

Hi guys,

Im new here and see that there is a very large community of vapours here so thought i would start up and see where this journey takes me (im hoping for a tar free set of lungs).

Im 26 this year and slowly starting to notice the effects of smoking for 9 years 10 a day usually. Ive been doing a bit of research and it seems that this alternative to smoking is very US based, with lots of shops showing there prices in $.

My first question is can any of you tell me where you get your things from in the UK? or do you just buy bulk from the US and pay the shiping fees?

Now comes the hard part, What shall i buy? haha. i know its down to opinions. ive decided i would like to try and steer clear of cartridges and would rather drip as it sounds a overall more pleasant smoke, aslong as you maintain your equipment correctly..

Im pritty much set on the cisco lt 306 1.8 version, but something i cant seem to figure is what i would need to go with it. What battery would i need or can anyone point me to one that i could use?

Im scared that im going to buy 3 Cisco lt 306 (to last me the first month) and then not be able to use it because i make an error on either buying the wrong matching equipment, or forgetting to buy something. Would anyone be able to point me in the right location? Im working on a budget of £50 for the first month roughly and want to blend in with all the smokers outside so a silver bullit is out the question haha. Any help would be appreicated.

haha thanks mate, I dont suppose you could give me any assistance with the items that i would need with the Cisco lr 306 att?

So i take it to get it started i would just need a fitting battery & charger and my juice? I must admit (it probably seems wrong for a experienced vapour) but starting off it seems alot more complicated. Ive read countless posts and i still struggle to understand the minimum requirements for dripping.

Yep, a battery, charger and juice is all you need to start dripping on that Cisco. I'd suggest an eGo-C Twist. It's variable volt and you can really dial in the flavor where you want it. I have two and love them. And they are fairly cheap, especially for being variable volt.

so if i was to purchase a eGo-c twist, 3x cisco lr 306's and some juice id literally need nothing else, the things that worry me is when i go on these websites that sell said products, theres so many things (other than batteries and attomizers) for sale it makes me worry i need other things..

You might eventually branch out and try other things like most all of us do, but that setup will get you started in an awesome way and you could just do that the rest of your vaping life and be just fine.

Don't forget the charger...lol. And you might want two of the Twists so one can charge while the other is in use. I vape too heavy to only have one.

Ok I think I've decided what I'm going to buy can anyone help me.? I'm going to go for the ego twist 1000mah with a lr 306 oasis version 1.8 a charger and some liquid am I missing anything? Will it all connect up ok? Will I be able to just drip straight onto the atomiser 3 drops a time. Any suggestions on how many items of each I would need to get me through the first month?

Anyone point me to something to charge the 1000mah version of the Ego-c twist (also what's ego c and ego t)

You didn't mention what resistance atomizer you were getting.

Looking at the following website I see three different choices...
Cisco LR306 Atomizer + Drip Tip Special - Avid Vaper

I would definitely go with the 2.0 ohm if you are getting a Twist.
Any lower resistance is going to limit what you can do with variable voltage.
