Good Afternoon, friends.

I'm a couple of weeks into vaping, and not knowing too much about things, I decided on a V2 Shisha Pen with a 4.2V battery, which I was happy with to get a feel for things.

I then decided to give WTA a try and received some this weekend. Again, not knowing much I went with 24mg, 100%VG and I have to say that I was disappointed. I mean, I didn't expect the earth to move but I didn't really get anything from it. Sure, it's producing vapour but after a day, I wasn't even getting satisfaction from the nicotine.

So then it occurred to me that my set up just isn't geared towards this juice-yeah, I told you I was new to things.Looking around, I've come across two mods from Apollo,

The Valiant

  • Automatically recommends/sets voltage and wattage based on connected clearomiser

  • 3 levels of safety low battery, short circuit, and overcharge protection
  • A 3-color charge indicator LED that changes colors based on how much charge the battery has left

and the slightly more expensive V-Tube,

ApolloVTube v3.0 Features

  • Variable voltage with a range from 3.0 – 6.0 volts (in 0.1 volt increments)
  • Variable wattage with a range from 1-20 watts (in 1 watt increments)

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice?
Am I right that my set up isn't suitable for WTA? And is it worth paying an extra twenty quid for the V-tube over the Valiant? (I'm on a budget, unfortunately).

Oh, and one other question, if you don't mind.
Is it possible to vape herbal tinctures if they're in VG? Does anybody do this?

I'd appreciate any advice,

Thank you very much.

While I honestly can't tell you which device would work best for you, it might help to know the price point. I'm sure you can find a decent DNA30 or better for roughly the equivalent.

Never heard of anyone trying. I don't recommend trying it. You simply have no idea how the active compounds in a given liquid extraction will react when being inhaled as opposed to consuming.

Maybe someone else knows for sure, I'm no doctor, but it sounds like something better left alone.

Name some of your preferences, do you prefer a cool vape vs warm? Tobacco flavors or gourmet? Etc etc

Right now, I don't have any preferences, really. I've only tried a tobacco flavour e-juice and the WTA. Once I get a better set-up, I'll be able to experiment.
Really, I want something that will allow me to know I'm getting the best from the WTA. Cheers.

The Valiant comes in at £45 and the V-Tube at £70. Right now, I'd be stretching for £70, but would if I thought it was a much better product.

Yeah, good advice, I think. Thanks.
