Well a BIG hello to my fellow vapers.

I've trolled the forum for a while - as well as others, and thought it was about time I introduced myself. :)

I've now been off analogues since getting my first E-Ni for just over 49 days having smoked for the better part of 10-20 a day for 28 years and haven't looked back since.

My first 3.7v was the TECC Tornado, a great device, which I think I'm going to hang on to. I also have the LF usb 510 pass-through for 5v vaping (figured I may as well use the pc's at work as well), and have this morning become the proud owner of a 2nd hand Silver Bullet c/o "notsmellyanymore" whom I can't thank enough for a truely outstanding sale, service, delivery, comms = one outstanding forum member! :D

Having got the 2 x 3v batts up and running I am blown away with the SB at 6v. It's the shiznitz
At 6v I can draw much like a regular analogue, even a bit quicker and harder, unlike the 3.7's and produce a vape much like an icelandic volcanic cloud, and am anticipating a no-fly zone around NW London very shortly

I quite like the weight and feel of the SB, in much the same way I like my Leatherman Surge and Triumph Trident Sprint- I think it's a testosterone thing, or an engineers appreciation of a bit of oldschool masterful engineering/manufacturing.

But, damn!, it's GOOD

So far, I've vaped at home, on the train, at social functions, on the train/tube (and received a few odd looks), in friends non-smokers homes (who are happy for me to do so), at work where I have drawn a few shocked stares and comments, with the occasional demo too! and in a few restaurants. With the exception of one incident, everyone was either not bothered or cool once I had explained what it was (there was one woman who decided she preferred her head up her .... regardless, and just saw it as plain evil - but I guess the world is full of such people, and it's a law of averages )

I see vaping as an alternative to nicotine replacement in all it's many guises, just without the horrors of traditional analogues. I just wish there was a greater public presence and perception. BAT, may you fold and rot! :sneaky:

OK, rant over, and keep with the program people.

Happy Vapes
