Hi, this is Jochen from smok-E.de.

At first I´d like to introduce myself and our website. We (a friend of mine and me) just put an information-portal about e-smoking online in germany, because we just think, e-smoking is the best alternative to smoking ever founded.

We don´t sell anything and have no commercial intentions (except some advertising banners to refinance our work). I myself (52 years old) am an exclusivly e-smoker since april 2008. Before I smoked around 50 cigarettes a day for about 35 years. I didn´t think, it would be that easy, to change from pyros to e-cigarettes.

My health is getting better from month to month. I smell and breathe like a non-smoker and my condition has become well after only 6 months - fantastic!

Hope, you don´t mind my poor english - I´ll try my best.

Would be glad about some feedback from the forum-users.

Regards, Jochen Blomberg, smok-E.de :D

Hi and welcome.
I just had a look at your site (i struggle to read german, but i understand some of it!).
There are some great ideas in there, especially your list of the legal status of e-cigs in european countries and the airline list. Lets hope that the airlines get around to answering sometime :)
Legal status in my country (Denmark) is still unclear; buying, posession and use are legal. Authorities have told Danish dealers to stop, but at least two dealers seem to be fighting the legal battle right now, so the outcome is still unknown.

Me too! The info on buying/importing and using is from a danish newspaper. the ban on selling is from the Danish Medicines Agency:
Illegal distribution of electronic cigarettes
The article basically says that you need authorisation to sell these devices in Denmark. I hope that in time, someone gets that authorisation! If even just one seller gets approval, it will show that e-cigs can be sold legally in Denmark, the rest is just paperwork ;-)

no speaken d doych...lol...saxony, I believe is my grandmother's area. I do know a few of my jeans, way back when, were shipped off to germany, behind the curtain before it was gone. I hope to go there soon. I have a lot of my german family heirlooms including a big ole grandfather's clock, a stien and pic of my great granddad holding the same stien. The program for the oceanliner that brought my grandfather to the us...he was a hosier factory engineer, when the machines were sold they sent someone to fix them with it. Anyway, didn't mean to change your thread. There are a lot of very imformative people that are members here that can help you spread the word of your business.
