Hi everyone - looks a great site here.
Been smoking a pack of 20 daily for around 25 years. Tried e cigs back in 2013 but half heartedly. Recently had a health scare so decided to try again but more determinedly! Dug out my 2013 V2 starter kit which amazingly still worked..
Stocked up on supplies and gone from pre filled cartridges to e liquid. Really like V2 - give really good advice on phone and seems (to me) a really good product. My favourite is coffee flavour. vaping 1.2 mg.
Today I smoked only 3 cigarettes - yah - and psychologically my default is vape rather than reaching for the box of cigs.
As a bonus, hoping maybe by next year to go ahead with implants as didn't want to risk wasting the money if heavy smoker...
Nice to be part of the journey

are you sure that's 1.2mg and not 1.2% there's a difference ;) 1.2%=12mg
I vape at 1.5mg and that's after years of vaping and slowly lowering my nic down....
I wouldn't imagine anyone stopping smoking would start out at 1.2mg as it's a very very low dose of nicotine
12mg sounds more about accurate...though I would maybe bump that up to 18mg to help curb the urge to smoke a bit more.

Oops my mistake - it is 12 mg!
I'm finding that I much prefer the taste of the vape to the actual cigarette I had this morning...that's a good sign right!!

that's a good sign :)

then again I never cared for the taste of cigs so I could be bias
I don't even vape tobacco flavors

and don't worry that you still smoke, it may take time to fully quit, it's all about how many you didn't smoke, then how many you did....but if you find that craving a bit too much, you could try upping your nicotine a bit and see if that helps....because switching from smoking to vaping, you are also getting rid of all that other crap that are in cigs so sometimes a higher nic is needed to help curb that...
glad you've found a juice you like, that's one of the harder things to do when starting out.

Welcome and best wishes, Rachel230. I think that's where success begins, when you start to prefer vaping over smoking. You can get free from cigarettes. Dual use is a proven path for many, leading to the day when you have your last cigarette and never look back.
