That's much too high nic for a subohm tank. You would probably want to either get juice that's 6 mg or a non subohm clearomizer tank. Non subohm tanks are more for mouth to lung hits like a cigarette, whereas the tank you have is more for direct lung hits. Good luck on your vaping path!

Another thing that you can do is to just purchase some VG (Vegetable Glycerin) from a local health shop, pharmacy, WalMart, etc... 50% of your juice to 50% of the VG will reduce the nicotine content to 12mg/ml or 25% of your juice to 75% of the VG should put you around 6mg... Personally, I sub-ohm at 10mg, so anywhere in that ballpark should smooth things out for you a bit. Just be aware that it will also reduce the flavor, but once you figure out what nic strength works for you, then you can just order juice at that strength from now on, and the flavor percentages will already be figured out so that you'll be able to taste it better.

Quite possibly. Sub-ohm builds are stronger and hit harder than standard 1 ohm + builds... also, the nic is a bit peppery and is harsher in higher concentrations. Sub-ohm builds only amplify that. Try cutting it down, or even just try a 0mg juice to see if you notice the difference. I'm willing to bet that you'll be happier with lower nic concentrations on your current set-up.

Yes for sure you need to lower your nicotine level to .6 or no nico at all and it will make a BIG difference in the harshness.

I have some 24mg juice that will make me choke if I try to vape in the sub ohm range.

Yeah, I've been dripping 10mg in my sub-ohm builds for a long time now and decided to try a friends juice... dripped it into my rig and took a big toke... almost coughed up both lungs.... apparently it was 36mg.... smh... next time I'll ask about the strength first!!

Alright. I found my old vape pen's tank and atomizer and am giving it a try on my mod. Which is pretty cool because it came with the adaptor to do stuff like EVOD tanks/vapes from vape pens.

24mg should be fine in a standard vape pen atomizer right?

yes in a vape pen 24mg should work okay---but some juices are just too far out there if you know what I mean----extra strong

The cap colors tell you what level the nicotine is in the juice---different ejuice companies use different caps for nico levels.

Yep, it'll be okay in that atty. And you can play with the wattage on your Cool Fire IV to get a little more out of it as well. Just kinda play around by starting a little low on the wattage and dialing up until you're happy with it. You could try that with the sub-ohm tank, but I have a feeling it'll be pretty unsatisfying... worth a shot though. Just start it out at 5-10 watts and go up from there.

BTW, Love the username and avatar... I've been a huge FF fan for decades... I actually remember playing the first one that was released in the US (Which was actually in 1990 on NES)

Yeah I messed with the settings all over for the subtank. it looks like I'll just be using this atomizer for a while so I can get rid of but not waste it.

I'll run to the shop and see if they'll exchange the other unopenned bottle.


As for FF, I'm not a fan of the final fantasy series myself, but I do absolutely LOVE Final Fantasy XII. It was the best in my opinion, and it sparked my love for bunnygirl characters.
I loved the combat system, I loved Fran and Balthier, and I have played it over at least 7~8 times now.

I even have a modded laptop that has custom artwork I did that's theme'd to Fran from FFXII

Good luck with the trade in on the juice... most places won't trade after you've left the shop, but you never know... it'd be worth a shot.

Awesome job on the laptop theme! I'm trying to remember if I've even played XII yet.... I have every FF ever released in the states for consoles (not into the portables very much, though I do have an old PSP, LOL)... problem is finding time to play through them all!!

You should be able to drain most of it and transfer. You could always buy more of the same flavor in 0mg nicotine and mix it with the 24mg to reduce... same as I said earlier with the VG. Only if you mix with 0mg flavored juice, you won't lose any of the flavoring.
