hi im lee, new to the vaping game, gave up nearly 2 years ago for 3 months using a supermarket supplied cig looking e-cig, now 3 weeks in but slipped up at weekends drinking, im using a vv ego spinner with evod tank, was great now not quite hitting the spot like before, also have a spare 900mah batt called diamond mist which i used at 1st but not enough vape, now think that was the tank that came with it, using cloudstix blueberry 75 pg 25 vg mix, setting is on 4.3v and not sure the ohms is at the but have some 1.5 on the way as i was hoping the coil had gone and replaced today with one from the shop which was brought in but the wife got it and i forgot to ask her to check with him the ohms, the flavour has not been the same for a few days not, any replies welcomed and appreciated, thank, lee

Hello Lee.

Are you having problems with a 1.5ohm dual coil? or it that what you had and you got some new ones?

Dual coils are difficult to get right... sometimes the only way to get them vaping good is to blast the power.....

Your atomiser heads should have the resistance (ohms) printed on them. If they are higher, you are going to suffer with less taste.

A Variable Wattage battery would fix this... set the watts, and Vape on!

hi, thanks for replying, the evod came installed with 2.2 ( just checked with your advice on where to look ) the one i have just put in does not have it on at all ??? which is the one my wife got me today.....
my pack of 5 1.5's are on there way from bargain vapour.
is the evod a dual coil ? after looking at this i have realized i have maybe ordered wrong as i run the ego at 4.3 for bigger hit on a variable voltage ego, or can i hit 1.5 at 4.3v for taste? is voltage and wattage different ? on kanger site it says this for voltage for ohms

My very first set up was an evod, and vision spinner with (there is a list) ismoka, aspire bdc(no go for me), aerotank (which was my go to for a while) and some other clearos mostly disposable. I recommend the aerotank. With something that is variable voltage. I.e. The vision spinner. It is a decent affordable set up, warm vape around 3.8-4.2 v, good flavor... But that is my opinion. There are many many others. You really have to find what works for you and that takes some trial and error.

Also if you aren't getting as great a vape as before you might have a gunked up coil. Can try rinsing it with hot water.

i have an ego spinner 3.3-4.8 which is variable voltage, what ohms did you use at the voltage setting, i just purchsed 5 at 1.5ohms

Welcome! Glad you found the site. Ton of information here. I have also used (and still am using) the Aero tank and love it...

You can add a little more to those numbers. That's conservative.

I used a 2 ohm dual coil at around 4v even though the spinner goes to 4.8 I never turned it up that high. But I could vape the same tank at 10w on my vamo with no problems. It all depends how warm/hot you like the vape really. I stayed with the 2 ohm dual coils just because they took longer to burn out.
