My name is LeAnn, I am a newly registered member so I am making this as my first post. I was a smoker for 24 years. I started when I was 12 years old. I found vaping earlier this year but I wasn't committed. My 12 year old son came home with a paper from school with a list of all the chemicals in tobacco cigarettes and asked me to stop. Less than a month later, I had started vaping. I am 2 months in and for the first month or so I had the occasional cigarette but now I am vaping exclusively. My mother was curious about it after smoking for 30+ years and I gave her some things to start her off and she had had 2 cigarettes since Thanksgiving. I lost both of my grandmothers in their 50-60s and an aunt and cousin in their 40s to smoking and I refuse to be another statistic. Thank you for allowing me to join and tell my story.

Congratulations on your success so far and I hope your mom continues on with it too, sorry for the loss of your family members as it's something that nobody should need to go through, especially to a cause like smoking.

I have bought my sister a started kit for christmas along with 3 bottles of liquid I think she will like. I'm hoping that she is able to stay on this journey with us. She has been asking me to get her one so maybe she will stay with it. Thank you all for the warm welcome.
