I am going to try and make a go at DIY ejuice nic included I could use any and all information possible to make that happen please and thank you.
My specialty is cheap and simple. I do only single flavors (because more than one is a ratio so there is measurement) @Letitia on the other hand specializes in juice that is actually better than store bought and is much more complicated so cheap/fast/good. Pick two

I guess then cheap/good. Use to get menthol from heartland.

Just good ole plain menthol at 3mg a ml is what I am after.
Two ways to do menthol that I know of. “Menthol” and “Ice”

“Real” menthol is a Crystal that gets dissolved in alcohol. That’s the stuff that all the falderal is about. Me I smoked menthols for a short while and coughed up blue specks, (well blue speck) so I tend to believe there is at least something there.

There is also “ice” which uses a menthol derived paste. Looking at the stuff what they apparently do is react menthol with something else. I have no idea if this changes anything other than the flavor. Which is a bit different. It’s more generically “cooling”. I suspect it’s what gets added to a fruit flavor to get something berry ice.

Menthol is generally more of an additive than a flavor though. So a Newport or something would be menthol tobacco.
A single flavor thing might be something that sounds like Salem or Newport or something but isn’t. For example one camel taste alike is called “desert ship”, which refers to camels but doesn’t say the word. Salem and Newport are both towns on the American east coast so one might be “American east coast” or some such. Salem was also famous for witch trials. Trying to remember if I tried any single flavors that included “mentholness”. Nothing is coming to mind, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any.

Cheap/good would be Letitia and probably involve steeping and choosing less expensive flavors.
Steeping can take a really long time. I used to be a cinnamon red hot fan (all cinnamons basically have to use cinnamon oil so they’re a no-no now. Oil= bad) it just got better the longer you left it. I read a thing about someone that accidentally left some in a fridge for 6 months and it was apparently amazing.
Some flavors are really pricy, some aren’t. Tobaccos didn’t used to be but suddenly jumped about 8x some years ago. Now they’re some of the most expensive flavors. And it has nothing to do with cost.

As for where to get it, menthol crystals are a commodity crop. So lots of places. I never learned how they were made, but it probably involves boiling tree sap or something. If you get the crystals a bottle of very good quality grain alchol or vodka will do to dissolve them. If you’re in Wisconsin or can get inside Wisconsin you want their highest proof everclear. Wisconsin has unusually high proof laws.

Doing menthol from crystals is fairly quick. You can buy it predone though. And iirc menthol is “shake and vape”. No steeping needed. Could be wrong about that one. I’m not a menthol user. The one that still isn’t answered is what the other flavor is. If it doesn’t matter and the menthol IS shake and vape, fast and cheap is pretty doable. It all depends on what kind of steeping is needed for the menthol, and that I don’t know. I also don’t know how “potent” it is, but my suspicion is “very”.

Hello I am new too. I have a little experience in diy minty flavors. They are one of the easiest to mix, usually a 120ml takes only a day or 2 to fully steep. The main thing is mints have a whole world of flavors.
If you want a refreshing candy cane flavored vape, use peppermint. Wintergreen is more like chewing gum, and pure menthol tastes like you're vaping a halls cough drop. Spearmint can taste like a good minty burst like the chewing gum but more often tastes like that spear mint hard candy (bitter and unpleasant)
anyway, that's been my experience. Hope it helps.
