Hi everyone. I recently joined, though have been lurking/researching for a few months, after I started vaping months ago. I hope to get valuable insights and suggestions on reliable and well-priced products. Do I post my concerns with my mod in this section as well?

Well, my current concern has to do with my mech mod. For background, I have a Pulse M mech mod, some 18650 VTC4 batteries, and 2 drippers (Vertex and a Tug Boat, which I got from focalecig (after learning about it from this forum). Thanks a lot, as I got the Tug Boat for only $10. Delivery time was quite long (2.5 months) but works fine.
Anyway my main concern is finding a good and reasonably-priced mech mod. My Pulse M doesn't seem to fire anymore when pressing the switch. I appears the screw is 'screwed up', pun? I've cleaned it, and even wiped it with glo, but still doesn't work. OTOH, I might have overdone it, as it no longer is silver, but rather bronze already. Actually the mod can fire when the outer edges of the circular bottom of the switch contact the negative/bottom of the battery, but not with only the screw, so I have to keep screwing the bottom (for it to fire) and unscrewing (for it to stop). A hassle considering the mod cost an arm and a leg in Asia, around $100, while I see some only in the $20-$30 range in focalecig. I'm somewhat overwhelmed though with the amount of mech mod products available in the site but not sure what are recommended, so I'm posting to inquire how to find ones I could consider.
