Hi women, does anyone have a crochet pattern to make ecig lanyard?

Hi women,
I'm new here and just bought my first ecig kit, an ego twist, 1,000 mah battery, and I'm wondering if any of you can help me with making a crocheted lanyard. I can crochet a little bit, my mom did teach me some before she died 2 years ago. I have crocheted a few dish cloths, that's about all so far.

I'm thinking I may be able to crochet a lanyard, there was a thread about one, I think it was for a bigger ecig than I have.

I've seen threads for lanyards, and even have a handmade beaded lanyard, but i don't know where people get the patterns.

Ok, thanks, in the meantime I'm using an eyeglass chain, it's working pretty well.

I haven't seen any patterns either. Have you thought about looking for a pattern online for an eyeglass chain? That might give you a good start, and then you could modify the ends to hold the e-cig.

Good idea moondragon! I am just such a novice at crocheting, I don't even know if I could modify it. I will check online though. Thanks!

you'll be able to modify, no problem. the worst that will happen is that you'll get lanyards of different sizes, for the all different batteries you're likely to eventually end up with

Well, thanks for your confidence in my ability, but all I can do so far is make a dishcloth, with some guidance. My mother would be able to help me for sure, if she was still around . She crocheted many afghans, scarves, lots of things. I will try at some point though.

Could you start like a dishcloth pattern and just go round in circles instead of back and forth?
