Based on the fasttech pic, looks like the top is stuck to the glass.

The 0.5 ohm coils probably consist of 1 ohm dual coil which adds up electrically to 0.5 ohm.
If one of them is open/disconnected, you end up with just the one coil and it will measure 1 ohm; it will work at half the power of the dual coil.

Same with me, I first started with the Blu but that was quickly put to the side. Now I just have to work on the dripping,

thats weird did you have alot of juice on it? im thinking about wrapping one tomorrow. its suppose to be raining and my tugboat clone came with kanthal and silica so i might just try to wrap a silica coil they look kinda easy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wen-f7XIJjc idk my wire all springy and looks like it has kinks from sitting in the bag.

on a side note i just switched my nautilus coils to the BVC oh my god this is amazing. its like a whole new juice. no more nasty taste/dry hits. .... i even jumped up wattage, from hardly being able to get 10 watts up to 14. winning.lol

Yeah I have a good bit of juice on it, it certainly is not dry. Who knows the cotton that I had when I first bought it did not have it but I picked up another kind that is japanese cotton. Not sure if there is a break in period for it or what.

I love the BVC coils they are great

i had no idea how much better the BVC was, id picked up some normal nautilus tanks on a black friday sale but they were also having a 40% off coils sale so i got bvc coils. finally got tired of getting dry hits so i switched it and wow. the flavor and smoothness is amazing. im at 15 watts and its working like a top. hmm thats weird. maybe with the japanesee <-- have no idea how to spell that to lazy to google it. cotton burns at lower wattage or high wattage. like the bdc coil i had would taste like .... at 11 watts but with the bvc i can go even higher without a burnt or stuffing taste. maybe it needs to be dropped down idk just an idea.

I have no idea either, I will try it again tonight see how it goes. There is a learning curve just a matter of plowing thru it lol.

I have the BVC in the mini and they are incredible

Not a bad idea to pick up a jig, I have been looking at them myself.

im thinking its going to be way better if i can wrap em with one of those pen style jigs rather then the free hand style. maybe later on start when i have a better idea of how it works yeh kno. what shop did you go to where they showed you how to build one?

I went to worlds greatest vape shop in bridgeport, but I think most if not all of the shops will build it for you and help you out
