Welcome to the forum and a crowd of great people! Congratulations on quitting the "nails" and to a great start on your new vape journey. You are in great company here with many others who have started vapeing to enjoy a healthier alternative to analogs. I did the same, and have been analog free since May 6 of this year. Keep poking around the forums as there are several great posts regarding quality juice and on line vendors. In my beginner phase, I have enjoyed some great flavors such as Nicoticket's Absolute Cream Breulee, Frenilla, Raz Cup and Wakonda. Ben Jonson's cream is a very smooth, creamy chocolate vape. I also just started enjoying several flavors from Ahlusion thanks to some great comments on several member's posts. Taste is very individual, and I am sure you will find several personal favorites. I have found that trying several juices in smaller, 10ml sizes is a very enjoyable part of the journey. Once that personal great taste is found, then I order in a larger size bottle. Once again, welcome and enjoy!

Is part fo the fun .
Cigs stink. Different brand cigs stink a little different.

E-liquids ARE different. Even if it says the same on the label. Buy lets say strawberry-flavoured e-liquid from three different suppliers and you get three interpretations of the concept 'strawberry' :)

So the journey to you own personal perfect vape might be a long one - but for sure it won't be a boring one

Enjoy :)

I did it. I got the Provari 2.5 polished dragons. It's beautiful. It just fits so perfectly in my hand. It feels so strong and well made. It looks great with my Nautalis mini on it with my purple drip tip.

Next question... what would be a good tank to go with it. I'm going to keep my mini iStick and mini Nautalis for out and about since it's so small and cute, and keep the Provari for at home, so I'd like a bigger tank. Should I just go with a regular Nautalis, and then I can keep buying the same coils and not have to start a mish mash collection of coils?

The Provari goes up to 6 volts, as opposed to 5 on the mini iStick, so should I get a tank capable of that slight boost? Wouldn't that depend on the ohms of the coil I'd be using?

Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. ☺️

I still use the medium size tanks (18/19mm) on tube mods, where the diameter of the tank is smaller than the battery. There are no rights or wrong. I don't think the bigger Nautilus offers much for me, and it has a less good reputation, but that might be due to the early BDC coils, which were not good.

I prefer 18-19mm tanks. I have 22mm Kayfuns and a subtank mini (22mm) but these look less good on small box mods, i.m.o.

A perfect 22mm tank looks super-smooth on a 22mm mechanical mod. Other than that, I just mix and match, mostly in favor of slimmer tanks. :)

Yeah, I've heard the same bad things about the original Nautilus coils, but apparently you can use the mini's BVC coils on them.

Any recommendations on medium sized tanks? I agree about the diameter of the tank being slightly smaller than the battery, that's why I love the look of the nauty mini on it. So sleek!

Also, what would be the lowest ohms I could use on it? Lower ohms, lower voltage, same performance as high ohms and higher voltage, but you'll get longer battery life?

I do apologize if I'm making you cringe with my questions. I try to google my answers first so I don't look like a complete and total dolt, but some of them I can't find.

Gotta start somewhere! LOL

Yes.. the BVC coils come in two types (sizes), standard "BVC" and "Nautilus BVC" the Nautilus BVC fits on both tanks and some other ones too. The baby ones are for use in slim eGo tanks like the K1 and ETS.

I only use 3 tanks really, Aspire mini Nautilus (3), Subtank Nano/Mini (3) and rebuildables (22mm). (5 or 6?).
You'll need other recommendations if you want to try out anything different. The Eleaf GS air "M" gets a good recommendation, but we don't have them in the UK, only the v.1. GS Air which is inferior to mini Nautilus i.m.o.

I don't believe you can ready anything into Battery life - the final power is the decider (I think). Actually, someone once said higher ohms, higher voltage was better, but I don't know, that seems sketchy. I would say it's down to the device.
The most battery life I got was using a high mAh battery (no longer considered acceptable chemistry) at 70%-80% of the mods max' power output.

Keep asking. :) If I have an idea, I'll comment. I'm not that scientific, sadly.

There she is, in all her glory. I'm smitten.

That's with the nautilus mini on top, and I think it looks great. I don't think I'd want a tank that is wider than the battery/mod, nor anything any taller. I think it looks great just like that.

I have a full sized Nauti. I don't vape it any more because I now prefer rebuildables, but it's a very nice tank. And keeping the same coils is a good idea. 'Gratz on the ProVari.

Gorgeous she is, no doubt. But I dunno about not having one as big as the mod. Here's a Kayfun V4 on a copper Nemesis:

That's not bad looking at all. It when the tank, where it screws onto the mod, is bigger and there is an over hang. It just looks like it doesn't belong together. I'll see if I can find a picture of what I'm talking about...

No need, I know what you mean. I used to use full size, 22mm tanks on spinner batteries. They make trim rings, you know, that go on the eGo threads around the 510 connector, to "flare" the mod top out to the tank diameter. I don't have any-- I just sold all of them with all my small batteries in the classifieds-- but if you want a pic, just Google "eGo beauty ring." I picked the mod/tank combo I did because the middle of the tank is actually larger than the 22mm mod. But the base starts at 22, and gets wider higher up, so it doesn't look bad. 'Gratz again on the ProVari; it really is beautiful. I told you above in the thread they're not high on my list, but their owners love them and they are widely acknowledged as being quality goods. Once you learn where to set it to give the vape you want with the tank you're using, I'm sure you'll love it too, and it will serve you well.
