hi in new to the forum but not a complete novice in vaping i started about 3 months ago with a joytech vtc mini with the tornado 2 sub vt tank purchased from totally wicked. im now running the same mod with the wisemec amor plus tank and loving the RBA and making my own liquids. im after some advice about tanks as my brother in law has been given a variable wattage device (not sure which) but the tank is a load of crap it leaks continuosly through the seal rings, the atomisers i cant find anywere and only presuming they are kanthal and th refil it you have to balance the glass tube on the base and hope the bottom seal ring holds. im after a tank that accepts pre-built kanthal coils as its not a temp. control device. any advice would be much appreciated.

Do you know how high the mod goes in watts and/or how low a resistance coil (ohms) it will fire?

If it can't fire a subΩ coil the Aspire Nautilus (or Mini Nautillus) or eLeaf GS Air M tank work very well. Great for M2L (mouth to lung) inhaling.

If it can fire a 0.5Ω coil AND it can go 30 watts or higher the Kanger Subtank Mini is really nice. The 0.5Ω coil is for lung inhaling and the 1.2Ω coil is for M2L.

Hi and welcome. it's hard to say without more info. A Nautilus is a solid choice if your brother is mouth to lung. Or the Kanger Subtank for either MTL or direct lung inhale. Telling us what mod he has would help us fine it down.

Ive just spoken to him and he said its the cool fire 4, used my friend google and its capable of handling 6-40watts and 0.3-3.10 ohms so im guessing any onenof those would work pretty well.

There are lots of tanks out there. There are even exactly the same tanks Totally Wicked sells for about 30% less money.

Unless you have a nice relationship with a friendly store (which I am not against at all) you'd do well to turn your back on the Totally Wicked/Joyetech/Eleaf/Wismec cosy arrangement.

This sounds worrying though...

You have to balance the glass tube on the base and hope the bottom seal ring holds.
