Welcome to ECF:thumbs:
Starting to build yourself if you're not already will definitely enhance your vaping experience:D

Not for everyone.
Personally i dread the wicking and changing coils, changed my first coil the other day and it was more stressful than a 2 million euro real estate operation i helped put together back in my days as a solicitor.

( i was just the middle man, never made 2 mill, good commission thou hehe)

True story,if disposable coils like the ones i use with my Innokin Zlide gave the same flavour and cloud production as the coil i have on my Wasp Nano RTA i would never wick or coil an atty every again.

We all different, some enjoy the techy techy side of vaping but not me,builds stress me to much :)

Just thinking about it got me stressed again, time to meditate:

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes, guys and gals.
Self build not really my thing.
Not into big clouds or sweet flavours either.
Just after an easy, convenient replacement for cigs.

Yep,that is how i started too.
Dont get me wrong i dont like making my own coils,i hate putting new wick in my coil and i truly despise having to change a coil, just not into it,but...

the flavour? wow....i mean i started vaping with one of those cheap tube looking mod with the built in battery and the disposable pods and yeah it was ok.

It got me off the cigarettes and that is the important thing, then the owner of the local vaping store got some free Wasp Nano drippers and asked me if i wanted one and i said sure (even thou i had no idea what a dripper was hehe),but i did have to upgrade the mod so i bought a SWAG 80w.

My friend Toni the owner of the vape shop put the coil, wicked it and prepped it for me and then handed it over and wow...it's like if a blind man could actually see everything in colour, not black and white but vibrant and fresh colours so yeah trust me it's a big difference.

Not much about the cloud but favour alone makes it worthwhile.

But we all different and we all enjoy vaping in a different way so you just focus on YOU and what YOU need to keep the nasty habit of smoking cigs away for good.

cheers

Lots of different types of vapers here. It would best help to start by mentioning what you use now. That will give people an idea of what kind of vaping you do. For example, you can be into the cigalikes (White cloud, Halo G6, Juul, etc), Pods(Saurin, Nord, Voopoo Vinci, etc) , EGO/pen style (Ego/CE4 combo), "Tootle Puffer", subohm, or cloudchasing. Not that there is such a wide variety, and some systems blend into different categories. For the most part, the cigalike, pod, and EGO systems have small batteries and USUALLY produce small amounts of vapor but compensate by having higher nicotine strength systems. When you start getting into anything above that, that's when the nicotine strength goes down and performance overall goes up. For most people, they do not need a replaceable battery system, or they don't need a large system. That's fine.

Me, I fall into the Tootle puffer category.... I don't blow huge clouds, but my mod is as big as those that are cloudchasers. I put a lower vapor producing atomizer on top (.7 ohm for those who are curious) and it produces a bit more vapor than a pod system, but not as much as those cloud chasing setups. I have settled on this range as my normal, and have been at this stage for a few year mainly because of the price Vs. performance. For me, it's easier to just build a coil and make my juice than to worry about who carries what coil or juice....and the price savings are astronomical.

Wow! I had to read your post twice to take it all in. Appreciate your advice, although I don't know what a "tootle puffer" is?
I'm not a novice. Bought my first 2 mods 4 years ago, but only started vaping seriously last summer.
Innokin Coolfire IV TC100, with a variety of tanks and coils, from 0.35 - 1.6 ohm.
My wife likes an easy, plug and play set up, so have just received JAC Vapour Series-S22 Work and Play Bundle. First impressions with 1.0 ohm MTL coil, are very good.
Trying to be a Chinese-free product household, but is hard with vaping products.
Next mod is probably going to be JAC Series-B DNA 75W, which I can use my Zlide tanks on.
Like to order from local companies, and whilst the JAC products are made in China, they're designed in Scotland and the profits stay in Scotland. Excellent quality and customer service as well.
I have neither the patience nor dexterity for self builds, and not interested in flashy, techy stuff.
Just trying to find that elusive sweet spot that ticks all of the boxes for both my wife and myself.
