Can someone help with spinner 2 issue?

Spinner 2 was working fine last week. It appears to be charging properly. Ive been using the same brand pre filled cartridges for months.
The pen just dont work. Turn it on, push button & it flashes a few times. Without the cart attached it stays lit when button is pushed. I’ve already pried up slightly on the center pin & also cleaned with alcohol.

How long have you had it? Or more precisely, how many times have you recharged it? It could be just a dead battery. What says the manual about the flash codes?

It was given to me, not sure how much its been charged. Since I’ve had it I’ve charged maybe 8 times in 4 months. It just seemed odd that it worked fine last week & crapped out completely & suddenly. I’ll try to find manual & check out flash codes.

I guess I don’t understand why it only acts shorted with cartridge attached.

Hi and welcome,
It sounds like it may have an internal problem.
The spinner2 is a disposable "ego" type battery and is generally not able to be repaired.
A new one can be had for less than $25.00 and depending on the site, you could get two for that price.

Does the cart work on another battery?
If a cart/atomizer/topper is attached with too much force, it can crush the electrical insulators and cause a short. (snug is tight enough)

As was said, the Spinner is a disposable mod. It just doesn't have the longevity like other mods. It is small and convenient, but not a hard worker over time.

I don't have a clue about that device but trully hope you get it fixed.

Sometimes mods just die suddenly. Is this your first device? Do you like it? There are certainly other mods with more and even a LOT more longevity if you are up for something larger or even rechargeable batteries. If not plenty of small mods (mostly pods or AIO) floating about to choose from.
