Hi there

I've been vaping for a while now and wanted to try something different. I'm currently using a kangertech mini protank 3 with a spinner 2 and wanted more vape so I bought a kangertech subtank Nano. It was just an impulsive buy and didn't know if it would work with my spinner 2 but ive tried it and it give off less vape than my protank 3. Am I doing something wrong or can anyone help. Thanks

If the Nano is like the Mini, it will come with a .5 ohm coil already installed in the tank. The spare they send is usually a 1.2 ohm coil. Your spinner won't fire the .5 and may not let you fire the 1.2. You may need to upgrade your battery to a more versatile one. If you can get your hands on the new 1.5 vertical OCC coils they put out for the newer Subtank mini, you may be in business. But the power you can put out with the spinner may still be too low to get much out of it.

Ok thanks for advice. Any idea which battery I should go for. I don't want to spend loads of cash.
Consider an iStick 30 watt. If you are located in the US, Sweet Vapes has it for $33.95 - Eleaf iStick 30 Watt Base Kit

Regarding coils available for your Subtank Nano. There are two different types: horizontal or vertical. I think all the Nano's come with horizontal coils.

I haven't tried the vertical coils but many people report they are great. Here are Kanger's recommend wattage ranges for each of their coils. However, you don't have to run them this low/high. That is something you will have to determine for yourself. The PG/VG ratio of your juice, how much airflow you are using, the flavor of the juice you are vaping all come into play.

Horizontal OCC Coils
0.5 Ω coils have an operating range of 15 watts to 30 watts.
1.2 Ω coils have an operating range of 12 watts to 25 watts.

Vertical OCC Coils
0.5Ω coils have an operating range of 15 watts to 60 watts
1.2Ω coils have an operating range of 10 watts to 26 watts
1.5Ω coils have an operating range of 10 watts to 26 watts
