I used to order from High Desert Vapes a lot. When they have one of those 50% off e-liquid sales, like they are now, the price can NOT be beat! I don't really order from them for myself anymore--I felt like I was getting more misses than hits on the flavors, and now I'm pretty much a one-vendor gal. I still order from HDV for my step-daughter, and she likes it a lot. I will say, the one non-A+ juice that I still HAVE to have is Irish Peach from HDV. I actually have a bottle for each of us on the way from this sale. If you like tobacco flavors, their Dueling Banjos is quite good.

I've been a little underwhelmed by most of the juice I've gotten from them, but I'll have to say that their Banana Nut Bread -- extra flavor shot, 70PG/30VG -- is very good, even pretty good right from the mail. I got the extra flavor shot with that one because all the others just seemed so blah to me, and it really made a difference.

I just ordered 5 flavors and got them the other day. This is my first order with them. Sadly, every one of them is terrible. I have no idea what's up with this juice. I did a flash steep in hot water to try and burn off some of the overwhelmingly flammable alcohol flavor that was present in all 5 flavors, and that didn't help. They smell AMAZING, but when you vape them you get this cardboard, alcohol, melted plastic taste. I'm very disappointed, as I found flavors you don't get typically anywhere else.

Anyone else have any thoughts? Even at half off these were a waste. I'm going to let them sit for a month and see if it helps at all, and thank goodness I have a hundred bottles of other brands. But I'm sad. I've heard such good things.

You get what you pay for. I tried a lot of their flavors, since they do frequently have great sales. Some of them were ok. Some of them were just awful.

I liked the cantaloupe, so the next sale they had, I got a 30 ml bottle. I don't know what happened, they forgot to add the flavoring or something. No yellow tint to the juice like the 10 ml bottle had. And even after months of steeping, it still smelled and tasted like nail polish remover.

1st order is almost unvapeable, but got their standard mix profile, which is 70/30 I think. Didn't like that at all. Any PG over 50% is too chemically to me. 2nd order was 50/50 and they were much better. The Maple Rum, Irish Creme, and Cantelope are pretty decent at 50/50. They dont wow me, but the price and service sure did.

The biggest problem I found with most of their juices I tried was that they just didn't taste like anything -- yeah, great smell, but no taste. I ordered their Banana Nut Bread, and this time I asked for the extra flavor shot, and that one was actually ok; it's been steeping for a couple weeks now so it's probably awesome at this point, since it wasn't bad at all right from the mailbox.

But yeah, giving them a steep for a week or 3 might improve them tremendously, since they're all made fresh when you order them.
