High Drain Battery Issue

So, I ordered some high drain 14500's hoping for better performance, but I didn't know they HAVE to have the magnetic spacer to work! I live in the middle of nowhere and called radioshack and bestbuy but they don't carry them.

Is there a make-shift substitute I could use? Like those powerful earth magnets, or would I potentially electrocute myself???

Is there a SUPER FAST vender who could get them out to me this week?

Okay thanks for the responses... I guess I will, carefully, experiment with some of the small earth magnets I have laying around. They are a littler thicker, and very powerful but they might stay in place better - I read some cautionary tales about the spacers and shorts... scary stuff, especially considering the one 'legit' spacer I have moves around a good deal when I'm trying to get the battery in the case. Luckily both my current 14500 box mods have on/off switches.

Is there a safer method I can invest in? I heard people talking about some kind of conductive adhesive that won't move?

Pardon my ignorance, but what do you mean by "high induction" ? I have little rubber washers from the inside of ceramic cartomizers I could use, but do I put them between the battery and the magnet? The earth magnets I have are really strong, that's why I'm apprehensive to use them - I don't know if that equates to high induction or not

Magnetic induction is the strength of a magnets stick-to-it-ness so if you have strong magnets and they won't slide around you will be fine, but if they do slide on the metal putting an insulator around them will keep them from sliding far enough to touch the side of the casing and shorting the batteries. Just make sure the insulator is not thicker than the magnet and preventing it from touching the terminal.

Wow, they aren't protected? But they have a blue plastic sheath type material on them... is it still safe to use the magnets?

They do say LI-MN instead. Here's the link:

"Protected" refers to a protection circuit board that is inside the battery cover. Those are not protected because they are "safe chemistry" NOT li-ion. Those look like BDL IMR batteries. I don't think magnets would cause any unique problems, but rechargeable batteries can be dangerous if not handled correctly.
