High nicotine level dangerous?

Hey all. I have what may seem like a stupid question. I have been vaping on and off for the past two years. My experience level is about average but I just want to make sure what I am doing is not dangerous. I have always used 18mg strength from vaporbomb. I love all of their juices so that is why I use them as my juice vendor. In another attempt to quit analogs for good I have bumped up my strength to 24 mg. I feel a bit more light headed when I use it and my heart rate seems to increase a bit. Is this potentially dangerous? I am a bit worried. I am using an ego with a EMDCC and the blend is 50/50. Any tips or knowledge would be helpful, thanks!:p

Probably not real healthy but not 'life threateningly' dangerous. It's just that you're getting more nicotine then what you're use to. Kinda like the first time you had a cigarette. I normally vape at the 24 mg level with forays into 36 mg when cravings hit.

But there is a point where it can become very dangerous. 'Pure' 99.5% nicotine will kill you with just a couple drops. All vendors here are limited to 100 mg/ml for the DIY crowd. So, 20 or more drops would be equal to the two of the pure stuff, if ingested, vaped or absorbed into the skin.

For most commercial juices it's almost impossible to find with levels higher then 36 mg/ml.

I'm riding out a mild nicotine overdose right now. It happens every month when I start using new cartos (I rotate 4 cartos at a time and replace them with new ones at the beginning of each month). New cartos = more vape = more nicotine.

Light-headed, dizzy, unfocused, sleepy... Fortunately, you get these obvious symptoms way before anything more serious can kick in. Take it easy for a day and it will pass.

I think that in the early stages of vaping it's not a good idea to make quick conclusions about how high a nic level is too high.

I remember starting off at 18mg and making myself woozy for a few days. That might have been a side effect from still smoking fairly much (or, on the other hand, smoking considerably less than I had before). At any rate, that passed, and months later I was a 36mg vaper--which lasted about a year until I found that level leaving me a bit more wired than I like when chain-vaping. Since I don't like the complication of looking after multiple bottle of liquid w/ different levels, I've settled into levels somewhere in the 25-30mg zone.

I've been vaping 36 mg for almost 3 years. Once, I cut some liquid with VG which brought it down to 28 mg, and found it didn't seem like enough nicotine.

So, to each what is comfortable.

On the bright side, I only consume about 1 ml of liquid per day. I guess my vaping is cut down since I don't need as many puffs to get the same nicotine.

I got the light headed, increased heart rate feeling the other day. I had two Ego-Cs, one with 30mg juice, one with 24mg juice. I was switching between the two for an hour or so then I had the bright idea of hitting them both at the same time. After a few hits like that was when I had to put them down for a half hour or so because of that feeling. It felt like going 12 hours without a cigarette then smoking one.
