High output VV mods?

I was wandering if anyone knows of any VV mods with a higher amp limit than the five amp limit on the Vamo? Im currently using a mechanical mod. I would like to try a VV mod if there were any that can push around 7-8 amps. Im new to this forum so this is really just my trial run. I would love to crank the voltage on a duel coil tinman setup(RIPtrippers) and still have a bit of headroom. Thanks for your help!

IMO higher amp limits would not be your best friend in a VV PV.

But yes there are several that can be made to go higher, but you are talking about custom builds that are pricy.

Do a search for mods based on the OKR t10 and PTR chips. They go to 10 amps/50 watts. The modders I bought mine from have either retired or moved on to DNA20 mods, but there must still be a few out there....
On reddit, some guy makes the Duke, which is okr based.

I'm sure someone who knows the current modders better will chime in with who makes these now.

Why would high amp limits in VV be no good?

The DNA20 mods are expensive, but a simple Altoids okr tin mod used to go for about $65.
